great comeback by Ana.. but she's going to have her hands full against Sharapova.. Sharapova has been playing exceptionally well this tournament.. Maganda yung service niya at maganda rin yung galaw niya sa court.. and she's very aggressive, going to the net a number of times in her previous games.. mahihirapan si Ivanovic lalo na pag naunahan siya ni Maria.. but I'm happy both of them are playing in the finals.. I'm not really sure who I'll be rooting for but I'm guessing Sharapova would win.. now, here's hoping Djokovic upsets Federer tomorrow..  ;D

nakita mo ba yung official website niya recently? pretty! but seriously though, she's moving up the rankings faster than anyone according to a press release last year.

I haven't seen Sharapova play this well ever. She's really improved over the off season. Imagine demolishing Justin Henin by shutting her out in the second set. I agree, Ivanovic is going to have her hands full when they meet.

Looking at how Federer plays lately, I'm beginning to think that he's just acting like he's off his usual high performance level. He might think that people might be getting bored with him that's why he always looks like he's going to lose games or sets but at the last minute gives off those amazing shots of his. But then that's just me. He may really be off at this tournament.

Sooner or later everyone cracks even Federer.

Win or lose, I will always be a grunt-girl fan!  ;D

My sentiments on the recent women's semi-final match up... I was hoping for a "beauty and the beast re-match". There never was.

Neither a fan of Fedex or Rafa... go Djokovic!!!

Tsonga's playing amazingly well against Nadal right now. He already took the first set. The guy may just win after all.

Who's going against Federer? Tsonga? Well, I'm not underestimating him  ::), but if it'll be a lopsided finals... nahhhhh!

That was a drubbing Nadal will not likely forget in a while. He was demolished even though he was actually playing well. It's really those drop volleys that are a sight to behold. It's like an instructional video on how to do the perfect drop volleys. And what about those awesome bazooka-like serves. Tsonga's da man! If he plays as well as he did vs Federer or Djokovic he's gonna win the finals.

It sure is! Federer kinda looked bored after losing his 5-3 lead in the first set.. The finals is going to be exciting with 2 very intense players.. so 2 Serbian players made it to the Finals..

Chance for the young guns to carve a niche for themselves. I don't want to take anything from Djokovic's win because he did play well, but Federer really lost the game for himself. He was really not at his usual level in this tournament.

I'm going to root for Tsonga in the finals, based on what I've seen he looks like the better technical player.

He's now a local hero in France. He even looks like Ali. Hehe

Yeah, he does look like Ali! And I hear he's also got the same cocky attitude and tremendous amounts of self confidence. Finally, a tennis player with the level of charisma of the greats from the 70s. I long for the drama of those classic 70's matches from the larger than life players like McEnroe, Connors, Borg and the legendary Ilie Nastase, who could out "Bad Boy" McEnroe himself.

Meron raw horrifying body odor si Sharapova?  Even called by linesmen and ballboys in some tournaments as "Stinky".

Might be true, I recall those tally lanky Russian dancers who became regulars in Casino shows in Angeles.....they all have atrocious body odor.  :P

Sharapova in straight sets. Ivanovic was in tears from frustration but she has a very bright future ahead of her so no real reason to feel sad. She is now ranked Number 2 in the world.
