After losing to Nadal 16x over and 4x at Roland Garros, I cannot believe that Federer is not fully aware of what he should do to beat Rafa at The French Open.  The gameplan is known to any tennis fan. Unfortunatly, Roger simply cant execute it to date. It has always been the same story again and again.

Even the combined prayers of my wife and I during matches didnt help. hehe

I think Roger is quite lucky that he is about 5 years older than Rafa, but I would still root for him everytime he plays Nadal.

Federer is fully aware of what he needs to do to beat Rafa. He tries to execute it at the start of his matches with Rafa with success. But when the pressure  is on he reverts back to what he has been doing and what he has had success with these past years. And that is when Rafa starts to wear him down both physically and mentally. I guess you really can't teach old dogs new tricks, at least not quickly enough. And mind you, Federer is not yet old.

Sure Roger can beat Rafa on clay (actually he already did) but like i said not at Roland Garros ;D

Assuming the top 8 seeds get to the quarterfinals, Nadal will meet no.6 Berdych. If he wins, and there is no reason why he won't, having beaten Berdych in last year's final, he then will face in the semi-final either no.4 Murray or no.8 Roddick.

On the lower half of the draw, no.3 Federer will face no.7 Ferrer while no.2 Djokovic will face no.5 Soderling in the quarterfinals.

too bad, wala na si Li Na. The turn of events happened when she was supposed to win a point but the bumbling lineman called her shot out. Her game went south after that.

Looks like serena will win the ladies side again. Sa mens naman i think Nadal will win if he gets past federer.

Sharapova is in Serena's part of the draw so nothing's sure as of now. Venus is in the lower half of the draw so another Williams-Williams final is possible.

Based on the draw, Nadal can only face  Federer in the final, that is if they both get through.

The Williams sisters are out!

Serena lost to Bartoli 3-6, 6-7 while Venus lost to Pironkova 2-6, 3-6.

Sharapova is the only remaining former Wimbledon and grandslam winner!

World no.1 Wozniacki was also booted out, losing to Cibulkova in 3 sets 6-1, 6-7, 5-7.
