yes, kyrgios almost made it, won first two sets, just as fritz almost pulled it against djoko, who dropped sets 3 and 4 after injury (abdominal cramps). after the match you can hear the most loudest scream from djoko ever!!! not a good match but djoko's best win ever.

itong si kyrgios may mental problems talaga, minsan ok laro tapos next minute magkakalat. He will never win a major tournament if ganyan palagi.

He usually encourages the crowd to get loud tapos nung natatalo na siya sa 4th set he was upset at the umpire for not controlling the noisy crowd. Even the commentators noticed this.

Yeah, he even hit the ball out the stadium ata. It cost him a point sa next game. Tibay ni thiem, with all the crowd for kyrgios, he still pulled it thru. Kalako talo na.

many players suffered injuries probably due to 14 days quarantine and 2020 inactivity.

Grabe nerbyos ng mga players kapag crunch and closing a match. Siguro ganun talaga kapag hinde team play.  kapag mag serve siguro nangangatog kamay bago ihagis bola haha.

Pumapalo din ako lawn tennis pero not competitive or tournament.  Pampapawis at katuwaan lang.

Si fognini yun ang ganda ng laro tapos nun matchpoint na, serving, biglang dinaga. Nadali pa nya de minuer sa breakpoint haha.

Bukas maganda pairing, osaka vs mogurusa, thiem vs dimitriev, nadal (let's see if he can play from tore in abdomen muscle) vs raonic, marami pa magandang matches.

Hmm, why does this always happen to Rafa in Australia, being ahead but losing in five. Vs Djokovic in the 2012 final, Federer in the 2017 final, and now Tsitsipas.

Actually based on the stats, this is the first time Nadal lost after being up by 2 sets sa AU open. 50-0 ata siya before.

Thanks for the stats, yeah it's only happened twice in his career before.

What I meant was, something always trips him up in the Australian Open, except for that one win in 2009. He was ahead in the fifth vs. Novak and then vs. Roger. Then he got injured in the 2014 final vs. Wawrinka, though he did take a set off Stan.

The prevailing theory is that it's the first big tournament of the year, and he hasn't yet reached the shape he needs to be in. Somehow Rafa needs to have played in many tournaments before he gets in the groove mid-season. In contrast, Djokovic seems to get in the groove earlier.

Nadal is simply the ‘king of clay’ having won the french open thirteen (13) times. The ball is slower in clay/shell courts (eg french open) than in the hard court (ao, usopen). Grass courts (eg. wimbledon) are faster than hard courts.

From experts:

Who wins and why?

McEnroe: Djokovic is the favorite, and rightly so, but I think it's Medvedev's time, and he's playing the kind of game that can really disrupt Djokovic. Medvedev is the closest player we have to Djokovic in the way he can defensively manipulate his opponent and change the pace. It might get into Djokovic's head. I'm not sure if it will signal the changing of the guard, but I'll take Medvedev in four really tight sets.

Gilbert: Both guys will be well-rested after routine semifinal wins, and I'm hoping that we get a five-set classic. But I've got to go with Djokovic in four sets, just based upon the fact he's 8-0 in Australian Open finals and knows how to handle the occasion.

Cahill: This is going to be like the "Queen's Gambit" match; a chess game between two really smart tennis players. I'm anticipating it being incredibly physical, and that's going to favor Novak. Even if it's a set all after an hour and 45 minutes to two hours, the advantage will go to Novak after that. I'm taking Novak in four sets.

I was hoping it will go at least 4 sets or 5 with the way medvedev is playing recently. Wala, no match. Novak is too good sa australian open court
