Topic: Need Advice on Sansui 1000A Tube Receiver

Hi, i just want to seek some advice from tube masters out there   

Someone is selling me a vintage Sansui 1000A for 6K, the problem with unit is that the 4 7591 tube needs to be replace. Are there stores who are still selling 7591 these days and how much so i can assess the possible cash-out. Is it a good buy na ba? I'm just a newbie with a very limited resources who just want to experience the wonder of tube listening, so i hope you can help me or give me some advice. TIA

Go get it, if you cannot restore it then I will swap you with a nice DIY tube amp, which was featured during the last Alabang Audio Show. I have a stash of 7591 at my other home in the golden state.

Bro my suggestion. Get the Tono Pre-amp being sold by Rene Rivo aka Hyperaudio in wiredstate for 6k. Hook it up in your Onkyo Integra755's Main-In. Tried that combo before (Onkyo Integra A755 MK2 + Tube pre-amp) and result was satisfying.

Anyway thanks pare, im happy pa rin coz i'm a vintage addict din kasi and especially vintage tube amps are hard to find these days, especially for a reasonable price

Sana lang may makabasa nito at bilhin yung onkyo integra ko sa buy n sell tapos bilhin nya yung tube kay rene
