HD Satellite

Is there any English Language High Definition Satellite service being offered here or abroad? I know other South East Asian countries are starting to have HD broadcast but I dunno if the signal covers us as well. It would be great to have since we phased out our SDTVs here at home.

About Dream

DREAM Satellite TV is the first all-digital Direct-To-Home (DTH) television broadcasting service via satellite in the Philippines.  Broadcasting from the DREAM Broadcast Center located at the Clark Special Economic Zone in Pampanga, channel content is received from program providers, compressed and broadcasted via Mabuhay Satellite Aguila II in DVB and NTSC color format exclusively to DREAM subscribers.

It seems the one offer by Dream is digital broadcasting service via satellite but no HD. :-[

Cignal DTH has 20 SD Channels and 2 HD ch but sooner it will add 4 more...

HD channels as of now is:

1. History HD
2. Voom HD

Coming soon:

Disney HD
HBO HD
Discovery HD
****** HD

Problem with Cignal is they only offer it in the province area. Do they have plans in offering their cable services here in Metro Manila?

I believe Metro Manila is included in their market. You may call Cignal at 895-63-53
