Hello po! newbie here and I find this site very useful and informative.

I need to buy 1 unit kasi as a christmas present for my parents back there in Phil. (LCD or Plasma TV will do) kaya price hunting pa ako. Baka po meron nagbabalak bumili dyan ngyong last quarter like group buy makikisabay po sana ako. (kunin ko n lng yung brother ko as my representative). Budget ko po 60k to 70k

I'm sure maraming up coming promo with different stores and companies before x-mas kaya magandang timing 'to.

I haven't seen the sony in action, but of the others, i suggest to get the panasonic 42pv70. With the qualification that there's a need for the 100 hours burn-in, which will control how you can and cannot use the tv for gaming or as computer monitor for the period.

Sorry allenfwc, gustung gusto ko talaga mag-organize kaso nandito ako sa Dubai...kaya nga di ba sabi ko makikisabay na lang ako sa Group Buy? Tutulong na lang ako sa mga communications ng mga willing talaga bumili by sending them PM and relay the same to the group organizer kung merong willing talaga mag lead sa upcoming group buy.

Baka po merong may free time dyan and willing to organize please let us know....tnx!

first we need to know what each person wants.... once we know our purchasing volume/buying power.
we can start using this knowledge to search and haggle from shops.

I've set a group buy before that just did this.
