There is a U series from Sony (sorry forgot the model) that is 1080p capable.
Cost is around 80K with HT and wireless headphones.
Real value of the LCD tho is around 55K -- because they can give it at that price if you pay cash.
If you fator in the HT and wireless headset -- value of the LCD is around 30K,

The dude's talking about 1080p panels, not 1080p capable like the Sony U series you mentioned.

A 1080p panel will display a 1080p or 2 megapixel or full HD resolution while your "1080p capable" Sony U series is a 720p or 1 megapixel panel that CAN ACCEPT a 1080p signal from a 1080p player and downscale it to 720p.

Di naman.  TV technology is evolving rapidly right now I'm sure most people, upon initial exposure to current TV spec and jargon, will get confused.  I didn't know any of this s**te myself until I exposed myself to PDVD posts from hardcore TV nuts like you.  ;)

Learning something new each day by asking questions is always a good thing.
At the end of 365 days... you would have learned 365 new things.

People that don't ask questions...well...is what is trully regrettable.

Easy to miss if you're a noob (like me)...

I

this would mostly be a subjective answer.

but i use my LCD tv with my pc, and thus for me it would be a very BIG increase.

generally ppl with farther viewing distances would notice less difference... i remember a chart for his before somewhere.

I

in 32s, you have to take a bit of hard (closer) look for you to see the difference. but in 37s its pretty obvious id say
