To blackie - Gusto ko rin sana sir Wharfedale Diamond CS as center speakers pero medjo out na sa budget ko eh. Maganda sana kung all Diamond Series yung set-up pero tight budget lng talaga. :)

To AsheCorven, It sounds great. Both DD 5.1 and DTS give out impressive results with these speakers. Just glad i bought them!
Movies sound wonderful too. I compared my set-up with Atlantic Technology setup and Castle speaker setup and they were close to a match! But of course, the Castle speakers are the winner in beauty because they simply have Wood finish not just vinyl. Enjoy!

Hello po mga masters, patulong naman. I'm planning to have my own HT for my room. My room is small so floorstanders are out of the equation; pag mag floorstanders kase ako i might not really use its maximum potential baka mabingi ako so sayang naman and also space is a concern.  Im also on a tight budget so out po yung mga talagang mahal na brands.

Pwede na ba to?

FL/FR        - Wharfedale Diamond 9.1
Center       - Wharfedale WH-2 Center
Surrounds  - Wharfedale WH-2 Surrounds

Amp - Sakura AV-378  - Nabasa ko po to sa Sakura thread and ok naman yung mga reviews.  Pero yung mga reviews ay Sakura - DTX combination so tanong ko lng sana kung OK to para i-drive ang mga Wharfedales. Yung sound quality ng Sakura - Wharfedale for Movies and Music ok rin po ba? Yung system ko kase 50% movies and 50% music.

Subwoofer - Hingi po ako ng recommendations. Yung mura lng po.

Nabasa ko rin dito na gumaga ng custom subwoofer si sir NRVBLKR, ano po ba yung specs ng sub nia and how much. Ok rin ba for music and movies?

Thanks..  :)

Also thinking of the same setup. Will replace the Sakura eventually.
Any input guys?

i used to have a sakura when i first started in this hobby and paired it with a wharfedale 9.2 and wh center and surrounds. for me it just did'nt work out and eventually replaced the amp after a couple of months...then eventually just ended up giving away the amp since mahirap na sya ibenta.

my advice is (since all are not SARS proof) just try to save up and buy a good second hand amp or a brand new entry level amp. kaunting tiis at ipon lang mas maganda naman ang tunog ;)

a yamaha amp is a good match with the wharfes!

Sakura??? hmmm?? Well dependi naman yan sa budget mu  at sa judgement nang tenga mu.. Last decision is yours bro.. When you want to enjoy good or better music you have to pay a thick cash for it, not to the point na subrang mahal na talaga..ok yung suggestions nila sayu..that's really for good as recommendations of our brother's here in pdvd, yamaha, kenwood, harman kardon and etc. Nice reviews on it...  ;D My Sakura din ako dati, For Sakura what I did is a  DIY Surround, Front , And Center...pinag aralan ko kung anung brand ang pipiliin para gamitin, Im not saying na da best ang results pero medyu parallel naman ang tunog sa branded...I used DAichi and Konzert for midwoofers and tweeters.. . Anu man decision mu Hope you never regret... .Goodluck!

Malakas ang bass at treble ang sakura kun di ka gagamit ng sub, ok nato. In fact my second setup is powered by a sakura amp. hooked in it are two big 12" fronts and the bass kicks big. since the surrounds are only 50w small speakers lang ang nakakabit dto. In a 5.1 mode okay na siya. gamit ko rin dto for karaoke mode. this amp has a tone, mic and echo controls. Other than these, wala ka nang benefit sa other features. Problema din ay naka-default yung FM at mlakas na volume. so once you set it on, if you do not have the remote, magugulat ka.  ;D
