DVDs I plan to watch this... (Your DVD Backlog)
« on: Oct 26, 2007 at 08:49 PM »
I noticed that I got a huge backlog of DVDs I own that I haven't even cracked open to watch yet. Some are from a week ago, and most are from months ago. It's insane!

Whether it's a DVD you own and haven't watched or plan to watch again, post it here!

==========

DVDs I plan to watch this...

...evening!

1. Transformers! The Live Action Movie!

And if there's time...

2. Transformers! The Animated Movie!

1. LOTR Trilogy, Extended edition - just want to see the added scenes. ;D
2. Snakes on the plane - I haven't watched it. Do you guys recommend this movie? ;)

Also, heroes season 1.. I haven't watched the whole season. I heard the story is really good. Do you guys recommend the box set sold in local stores? ???

OT:

Heroes has got great characters and good actors that portray them and the premise is compelling. But the stories are :P *bleh* :P  95% of the time it comes off as a really bad knock off of an M. Night. Shyamalan movie because the characters (and the show) take themselves way too seriously.

The story progression is slooooooooooow and highly predictable. And these flaws can already be seen on its second season, from what I hear.

But then, I'm part of a very small minority who isn't interested in the show after trying very hard to give it a chance for at least 10 episodes into season 1. So please, don't listen to my opinion if you want to give the show a chance.

Most likely you'll probably like it. I think 2/3 of the planet have a positive opinion of it. Follow the masses  ;) And there's a discussion on the R3 DVD set over at the R3 reviews section. The reception to it seems so-so....

I plan to watch my Godfather Trilogy (R1) today. I finished the first movie but I haven't started the 2nd and 3rd movie. Hopefully, I could squeeze it in later. ;D
