love this musical! very touching and engaging. a good glimpse of the 60s (wasn't born yet then).

added bonus is T.V. Carpio, a Chinese-Filipina, who played Prudence.

because of this movie, i now love The Beatles!

Is the movie any good? There seems to be generally negative reviews about it. I'm a fan of the Beatles and I'd like to get this. My concern is whether or not they arranged the songs properly.

Yeah but I'd recomend the 2 disc version, all the songs (except two) unlike the one availble here in the Philippines which is only half the songs. If I'm not mistaken, its not available here right? Anways, if ever you should order the 2disc, its really worth it. Highly recomended.  ;D

I think you're right. Only saw the 1-disc OST at Music One Quezon Ave. Don't know if the 2-disc was also released locally.

The story is extremely predictable, and the movie drags a bit towards the end, but the vocal talents of the cast and the imaginative directing/cinematography/visual effects more than make up for it, IMHO.

I liked the extended versions of some songs. Didn't watch the documentaries yet - some day when time's less tight.
