Thank you sir. Bought the lg sj9 a month ago at ansons cash n carry for 27K. The supervisor applied the discount promo from 38,990 down to 27,990 without recquiring me to buy an lg 4k tv (from what i know the discount can be applied if you buy a 4k tv). And to top it all he gave me a 990.00 additional discount. So for 27K, i think i got a very good deal.

Sound quality with music source is better than my jbl sb400 (using Bluetooth connection). I don't have a 4K Blu-ray atmos player yet so I can't say anything regarding its "atmos" sound capability. But with downloaded movies with 5.1 sound is much better than my jbl sb400 regarding sound quality and separation.

For those planning to upgrade from their TV's built in sound, and wants Dolby Atmos, DTS:X as well as 4K HDR passthrough support, should consider the Sony's new flagship HTS ST5000 7.1.2 soundbar. I think its the first soundbar to support both dts:X and Dolby Atmos with 4K HDR support. The once mighty Yamaha YSP 5600 also supports Atmos and dts:X but unfortunately doesn't support 4K "HDR" passthrough and may never will...
Local price of the HT5000 is Php 79,990

It was showcased during the 2017 HiFi show and it filled the room very well. The wireless subwoofer is very capable. Sony should have added an option for wireless surrounds but unfortunately they didn't... nothing beats a true and physical surround speakers. Major advantage of this soundbar from the traditional set up is that, its clutter free. No more long wires and problems with cable layout and management.

Another great alternative for a bedroom set up is the Polk Audio Magnifi Max SR which comes with a pair of physical wireless surrounds speakers (you still need to plug them in your wall outlet). At around 2" in height, you'll have no problem putting it infront of your 4K TVs. This soundbar also supports 4K HDR passthrough but no support for both Atmos and dts:X... I am not sure if it could downscale to legacy dts and dolby if fed with lossless audio. With its retail price of Php 42,980 this little monster will fill your bedroom with cinematic awesomeness and lots of late night viewing

*I was actually tempted to make a reservation for the Magnifi Max during the HiFi Show to avail of the 20% discount... good thing I do not have money to make the payment, hahaha... I was really impressed with how to this slim and sexy bar sounded. Clear and big dialogs

Hi guys, I've been lurking here for a while now. I finally decided to purchase my first soundbar. I'm eyeing JBL's SB350, but it seems that they're not too popular here in this forum. Can anybody point me to a better soundbar within (or even cheaper) than the SB350 that's available locally?

They're popular here sir. And I'm not sure if there are other cheaper options that can perform at par with SB350.

looking for something similarly priced(kayalang got them on sale kaya i duno if makakahanap pako) na similar performance din for my parents bedroom..

10k + 500php voucher sa lazada last yr so thats 9.5k lang... also looking for one now.. regalo ko sa parents ko if meron...
my parents are on 5.1 now sa room nila... pero lagi may natatangal na wire.. and tinatamad din sila mag on.. i think they will be satisfied na sa sb350.. or kahit sb250/sb150 e.. kung mura ba makukuha...

polk magnifi mini is one of the best soundbar i've heard. kaso di kaya ng budget para sa soundbar. hehe

napakinggan ko yung mga jbl pero mas nagandahan ako sa harman kardon sb26

Polk magnify series are drool worthy soundbar/system

The magnify mini is just a mini but packs a big sound, while the newer bigger brother which is the magnify MAX SR aside from the full size soundbar, it has wireless surround speakers for that enveloping sound.

Worth saving for.

We have the SB250 model na napanalunan ng kapatid ko sa raffle. Tested it out for the first time yesterday and same din yung sentiment ko sa sound quality na medyo manipis nga ang tunog.
