Any review sa mga naka rinig na ng polk magnifi mini? Is this better than signa s2 or jbl bar 2.1? It’s now priced at 19k+ cash na lang.

How is it with music via bluetooth?

Considering getting this for a bedroom setup.

Hell yes. I auditioned all the soundbars you mentioned and for me the magnifi mini stands out. Also i really use it with google home for voice command music playback.

Correct. Kaya binabaan ko pa bass setting. And agree sa surround. It is really like a 3.1 setup rather than a 5.1

This would be the cheapest Dolby Atmos soundbar in the market currently.

My Polk Magnify Mini finally gave up so got a Magnify Max to replaced the missing piece in our living room. For a week of listening it seems that the Mini's sounded better while the Max sounded thin except for being more powerful & a bigger Sub (bigger bass filling too). Not content, I had the Max transferred to our bedroom & decided to get Samsung's HW-Q900A Atmos/DTS:X soundbar, never expected this would sound great, room filing & it really has some Atmos effect as long as you have reflective ceilings. A happy camper for now with an Atmos / DTS:X soundbar

any recommendation for a basic soundbar to use in a 10-12sqm room to augment basic tv speakers?  tv has digital out only, remote control for volume would be nice

can Samsung HW-Q900A replace the traditional 5.1 system? can it replicate the sound from the rear speakers? I'm planning to get rid of the avr, tower speakers, sub, surrounds and esp the wires for a simpler and cleaner look in our living room approx 22 sqm.

Actually no but it is better than the ordinary soundbars out there coz of its ATMOS/DTS:X features. For me its ok you could hear rear & upward effects if you have reflective walls (there are options for a rear wireless surrounds) but a soundbar will never be as immersive as with 5.1 or 7.1 speaker set-ups. Soundbars are just the way to go if we dont want the hassles with AVRs & wires running all over the place.

how much estimated prices ng Q950A and Q900A? also, I noticed that the locally available models are Q950T and Q900T, not sure if these are just region coding or feature differences

series A are newer models. Q900A a month ago was P44,000 at SM Appliance. Q900T @ P36,000 at Abenson. As for the 950 series package with rear surrounds, havent seen them in the stores but Lazada are selling them at outrageous prices.

get a Sony lang Sir Rod para sure. They have ATMOS soundbars naman but I think there 7.2.1 is still at a high price compared to the Samsungs.

for as long as connected sa HDMI ARC or eARC, sa tingin ko no problem yan.

sayang, last week may nakita ako sa FB marketplace yung Q950A nasa 37k lang, bought in US kaya 110v.

I am looking for a capable soundbar for about ₱5k with compelling bass.  Sound clarity isn't a concern so long as there is decent LFE.

I saw this on clearance https://www.samsung.com/my/audio-devices/soundbar/2-1-ch-soundbar-black-hw-k350-xm/ for ₱4,000 but we couldn't get it to work after testing it onsite.

This soundbar is going to the province and may end up being used for videoke as well (is it better to get separate speakers for this?).

Any recommendations?

Main disadvantage of using this as a karaoke speaker, there maybe a slight delay if you use optical/hdmi input. With the mic volume turned up and some shouting, you can easily clip these type of speakers.

I thought about this too and it does seem like I will need to get a different set of (louder) speakers for karaoke, maybe some konzerts or xtremes.

Ended up buying a used Samsung HW-F450 (280 watts, 2.1, wireless sub) for ₱4,800.  No box/manual/mounting bracket but everything seems to work fine (including the remote) and sounds good enough for a living room.

https://www.samsung.com/uk/audio-devices/soundbar/2-1-ch-soundbar-black-hw-f450-xu/

It comes with Bluetooth, ARC, and a host of other features which were probably cutting edge back in 2013 when this was released.  This should be a substantial upgrade to the tv speakers they're using right now.

This will definitely not do for videoke so it's likely we're going to source Konzerts at the local shopping district near the munisipyo and just build a separate setup for it (probably something that can also be set up outdoors for gatherings).
