Topic: C-Interactive's January 2008 R3 DVD Releases

I just watched the Bridge to Terabithia DVD. It's really a high-quality release from C-Interactive. The video is crisp and the audio is very loud and dynamic. It's even better than Viva's Enchanted. I hope to see more of these cheap by top-quality DVD releases from C-Interactive!

Bridge of Terabithia: my second C-Interactive DVD. Keep it up and keep them coming!

I've already seen VCD's of Pan's Labyrinth. Hopefully for those  waiting for a local release, the DVD would be of excellent quality, much like C's recent releases.

Over at the Astro MOA sale they were playing Pan's Labyrinth with subtitles. So I thought, "Yes! May DVD na!" Then I remembered  the movie's in Spanish, hence the English subs VCD pa pala...

Watched Bridge of Terabithia today using my PJ, and yes it  truly has an excellent PQ/SQ. Worth it for 250ph. Anybody noticed the freeze frame at 50:37 of the film? I hope it was just a layer change.

i recently purchased fracture by c-interactive. the movie was good but the video quality sucks big time also the audio. on the dvd cover it say 5.1 but it's actually just a 2 channel audio. stay away from this dvd unless your tv is a '14-'21 incher!

too bad! i though they did well with the condemned! and the worst part of it all is that it skips, skips, skips....layer change? maybe or it just sucks big time! and yeah it's priced at 299!

I think you have 2 major reasons to RETURN the item.  I did this for Assault on Precinct 13.  Says Widescreen but actually full screen.  Consumer rights bro.

Bought C-Interactive's THE NEW WORLD ( Imported release ) for P199 last weekend.

Checked it out and here are my findings -

Yep it's DVD9.  5.1 Dolby Digital ( not 5.1 EX printed in the cover ). 

PQ and SQ are good, which I believe, are faithful to the R1 release. 

The only complaint I had was some cracks on the amaray case.  Overall, I think C-Interactive has done it again! Way to go to the new breed of Cs!  Make me a believer!

Other titles I saw that are marked "Imported" @ P199 are

THE MAN
ALONE IN THE DARK

Didn't buy though as I've seen The Man on HBO (and won't watch it again) and the reviews for Alone sucks big time!

Yeah. But you still have to be wary of some new titles like Fracture. It's still hit-or-miss with C-Interactive. Oh wait, strike that. It has always been misses before (not considering the R1 LOTR's). It's just this year that they improved to hit-or-miss level. So far the good titles based on feedbacks and personal experience are:

Hairspray, Rush Hour 3, The Condemned, Bridge To Terabithia and The New World.

i think they should work on the misprints on the labels...mark it as it is if 5.1 or not.

i think they did well with the condemned. hope they become consistent with good releases!

I have a copy of Unleashed from The Video to C, ok naman PQ it has DTS pa 

The Phantom of the Opera is also a decent release

Yeah. I have The Condemned and Bridge To Terabithia so I can say with confidence that they're quality releases. As for Hairspray, Rush Hour 3 and The New World, the quality of these were attested to by other PinoyDVD members.
