hey, same here.. Ginebra hater as well.. but a big basketball fan.. I was frustrated with the loss as well but it was a great game.. my 2 hours+ wasn't really wasted.. it just hurt a bit.. :'(

I wasnt comparing. I was just trying to explain the feeling of being "anti" to a certain team.

Difficult to tell coz certain teams do match-up differently with other teams.

But I just dont see the Spurs being successful offensively against a great Boston D. Kung Spurs nahirapan sa Laker D...ano pa kaya sa BOston D. Nagkakaroon kasi ng scoring droughts ang Spurs.....oh well, Boston has been doing that for a season sa mga opponent nila...

Last I read Arenas will stay if they also re-sign Jamison. Unless your news is more recent.

Munskie -- parehas tayo I told myself to stay away from ESPN and this thread to stay away from the big Lakers collapse. But the thread is too tempting to ignore. Ako din emdyo concede na sa series na ito.

Lakers have 2-3 year window to win it all. With the current line up they can come back here next year. Great learning season for the team -- especially in the Finals. You have to remember that only Kobe and Fisher has been here before (tama ba?). So as a Laker (or Kobe) fan, you have to be optimistic.

Arenas won't re-sign if the Wiz don't re-sign Jamison. But I think they need more than that to be able to get over the hump in the East. This was almost the same line up where they stretched the Cavs. But this year the Cavs was not even in the East Finals. Plus a lot of East teams are going to be better (Bulls, Heat, Atanta)...their current roster will be a playoff team but not a championship team.

Last I heard is that Arenas opted out of his current contract. But it doesn't necessarily mean he will not re-sign with the wizards.

Oh well, hirap talaga Lakers. They just dont match up well with Boston. Contrapelo nila ang Celtics.

Anyway, nine out of ten ESPN experts picked the Lakers to win it. And they could all be wrong soon. Sa Lakerground.net, some are optimistic and some are conceding na...........Im leaning on the latter.

its all about matchups, i think the spurs would have had a better chance against the celtics, and detroit would have probably beaten LA but not the spurs.

next year... look for alot of big name trades to happen... i think odom is gone... rasheed is gone... maybe even fisher & billups, the suns, mavs, cavs, denver (with camby, martin, anthony and iverson) have to shake things up also

i hope atlanta moves up next year.... very exciting team to watch. all the teams will be forming line-ups to beat boston. unless KB24 averages 120ppg in 3 straight games, this series is over.

Kaya pa yan... although I can't help feeling happy for KG and Pierce, if ever they win!

Regarding offseason trades or targets for the Lakers, there's Billups and Prince (who I think both comes from LA)... tanggapin kaya nila si Odom? heheh
There's Elton Brand... who can play PF with Gasol sliding to SF.. (sabi nya SF daw siya dati sa Europe eh)..

At any rate, with the success of both Boston and the Lakers... many team will try to improve via trades. So, I'm expecting a very busy offseason.

Speaking of Ginebra, its the only team I know who manage to come back and win from the 3-1 deficit in the finals. I dont think Lakers has the same tenacity and determination ...
