i think marami china made with different brands names.  problem is they are not durable. I got an AHOO and was gone in a month

i think ok na yung philips dvd/divx player with usb. mga 2,500 lang yata kuha namin sa abenson.

Mga sir, last christmas while scouting for a dvd player (upscaler) nakita sa MOA SM hypermart Akira P1,600.00 lang.

The brand (Akira) was my first dvd player mga 4 years na sa akin and still working. Di ko lang alam kong pareho pa quality.

As far as I know, mura na lang mga Philips DVD players ngayon (except for the high end/upscaling).
You can get them for around P2000-P3000 depending on the model. Pero of course DTS-out lang yan (you need an AVR for DTS decoding)
