Looks like most (all?) of those new re-released slipcased and non-slipcased Magnavision DVDs with the triangular gold Imported sticker stucked on the dvd cover are locally minted DVDs.
I bought:
Tomb Raider
Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life
Four Brothers
Snake in The Eagle Shadow
Sabrina (Audrey Hepburn)
The first three are slipcased.
All are locally minted DVD9s. While Locally-minted is speculative since Magnavision has not confirmed them as such. They are minted from the same plant where their previous budget DVD9s are produced. Certainly not from the same DVD plant that mint their Php 895 and 695 DVDs.
I am not actually complaining, since the quality seems okay (no skipping yet) and the price is reasonable, it's surely better to get locally-minted DVD9s of classics like 'On The Waterfront', 'Forrest Gump', 'Roman Holiday', etc. than not to get anything at all.
Still, posted for reference and whatever it's worth.

Not sure if the 2-discs slipcased 'Schindler's List' is locally minted, since the DVD barcoding/inscription is different from those locally minted (which list the DVD title) and Imported (which list numbers). This one just states 'Technicolor' (on a predominantly black and white film!
