i think we don't have to worry about that.  this is warner we're talking about.  the packaging won't suck at the very least. i hope...

Isn't this a Paramount release? Warner's recent releases have been mediocre (Harry Potter, Superman Returns, etc.) in terms of PQ.

it's actually a dreamworks release in north america.  since it's a warner/dreamworks co-production, warner gets the international or at the very least, asian rights.  think a.i.  that is my understanding.

Just curious, Is it true that in the R1 version the censors trimmed the Judge Turpin's 3-5 seconds Throat slitting scene because it was too gory and the movie/DVD would be rated X instead of R ?

They say the R2 got the complete Throat slitting part, though I don't know on the R3's case

really? i haven't gotten my R1 disc yet. kung ganu'n, sayang naman. i might buy an R3 version if that's the case, i.e. if R3 is not censored.
