Samsung Gamer Plasma

Although Samsung's billing these plasmas as being "3D ready", what they mean to say is that they apparently did some tweaking with game mega-developer EA to ensure their two latest 1080p plasmas -- in 42 and 50-inch sizes -- play games well. The HDMI 1.3, USB, and supposed 1m:1 contrast ratio don't exactly hurt, either.

Want to jump into the 3D madness? Suit yourself with these two new PAVV TVs from Samsung in Korea, available in 42" and 50” and 3D Ready PDP TV” (PDP = Plasma). Samsung worked in collaboration with Electronic Arts to ensure these TVs will give you the best gaming experience possible, and to tweak the 3D display rendering. It's also important to note that our TVs were given the DNIe+ (Digital Natural Image engine+). On a side note we have here USB 2.0 Support, HDMI 1.3, and full HD.

If 3D PDP TV isn't MAD enough, Samsung announced a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1… I am not sure if this isn't a typo on the Samsung PR documents, but WOW.
