Thanks for the pics!

The R3 DVDs I have are barebones. Didn't go for the R3 Boxset because the features disc is reportedly not that good, mirroring the R1 (already saw the exact same docu on discovery channel a few years ago).

The included features on these editions are something to look forward to.

This seems like a waste of money for those who already own the 4-disc DVD set >:(
I'm sticking with my original boxset because it already sports fantastic picture and sound quality.

peace :D

No point in getting this when the R3 is something like 999 for all three.  Additional bonus features doesn't seem too exciting... they should have make some documentary tie-ins like those they did for the Young Indy Jones DVDs.

Maybe when the fourth movie arrives on DVD (by year end?), they will release a better boxed set with more extras.  That may get me to open my wallet, but until then, I am more than happy with the old R3 box.
Blessed are the clean of heart: for they shall see God.

i still prefer the original boxset.  If ever I double dip...it's gonna be the boxset that houses all four movies...if it gets released.

Less than glowing review from DVD Active: http://www.dvdactive.com/reviews/dvd/indiana-jones-adventure-collection.html

For those too lazy to read the article, for me what stood out was: There has been no re-restoration (on the video); these are the exact same discs that were released way back when.

Just reviewed the past movies last weekend in preparation for the new movie (opening here on May 22). In the first movie, the flight path sequence showed that Indiana made a stopover in Manila on his way to Nepal to visit Marion.

Just a (somewhat unrelated) heads up: if anyone is looking for an R3 of this 3-disc set, I just got back from Hong Kong and this has been released there in a very attractive slim, white, embossed metal case!

I really wanted to double dip. But knowing I might eventually triple dip when Indy 4 is released helped me control my urge to impulse buy.  ;D
