what model is the "baby grand"...if u r referring to the bach grand, it could be worth 100k but im urging u to listen and find a 100k speaker that sounds at par or better.

they dont only sound good, they look good :)

i used to own a vienna acoustics beethoven until 2 years ago...sound is fine though i find the midrange a bit laid back and can get a bit congested...it's reasonably transparent but on the safe side..u feel something is held back.. i drove it with a top flight naim system..

But vienna acoustics beethoven  received a nice review in Stereophile mags....  ::)  ::)  ;D

...just like any other speakers, these Viennas need proper gears to make them really sing. i would agree they sound a little dull inherently but pairing them with some bright sounding or "shouty" gears would bring out their best potentials.

to me, Viennas has very good mids and highs, the lows are more than enough but not boomy.
