nice set-up, congratulations....

may i suggest that if you are not using pin(round type) plugs, you can change your socket outlets to the flat types..... ;D

audiojunkie, aga muhlaq, munskie, bagetz, jairus & squatt3r. thanks po sa inyong compliments.

yes, the gramophone still works although sometimes the RPM is not stable. this needs a minor repair but i don't know anybody in my place who knows how to tinker with this.

the rack was home made only by a carpenter. i used hard wood posts, sidings and 3/4" marine plywood on all the shelves.

the speaker stand top and bottom base are made of hard wood and the black metal tube is from HAFELE kitchen hardware (a table stand). cost of table stand is 330 pesos each and the hardwood were all left overs from my house construction. hence, my speaker stands is super cheap ;D

the wooden face plates of the amps were also left overs of the flooring, a hard wood. kaya same color sa floor ;D

you can change your wall outlet to 3prong type, ime those type outlets does not make good contact and sometimes they spark when plugging in.......

you mean change the wall outlet socket sir? i still have a spare 3-prong socket that can be placed in exchange of the 2-prong universal wall socket. btw, i am using clipsal C-concept wall sockets all over the house. the socket fitting is tight and firm and are way better than royu ;D.

how about the extension outlet? it's only a cheap one. do u recommend changing the extension wires to 12ga thhn so i can replace the plug to a flat type? i still have leftovers but i can't find a good sleeve to cover the wire. i'm looking for a braided cloth, same as the sleeve of an electric iron cord. maybe i will canibalize our plantsa nalang ;D

yes, you can change the wall sockets to something better...i try to avoid extension cords wherever i can...another set of wall outlets will be even better....

ok sir, suggestion noted. i have no choice with the extension cord as there are 4 plugs to connect while my current wall outlet only have 2 socket provisions. i'll probably change the extension cord plug to a flat one. at the moment i have not encountered yet a spark when plugging in all the outlets in the house. ang hirap nga minsan tanggalin dahil masyadong tight ang fitting. i have collected a lot of round-to-flat plug adapters after removing them from my digicam, dvd, cellphone chargers & etc as i can now insert directly any round plugs in my household.
