Master Beginner and Master Joey, kaya ko lang iniwan yun kalawangin na kawad ko, baka sakaling kapag naikabit nya sa reference CA system nya, maging ginto at gumanda ang tunog. Ayaw daw nya patagalin ang kabit kasi baka ma-tetano daw ang mga gears nya.     

Heard the 740c - 740a - mezzo BS combo na.    Deadly match.

Ayan na bibili na si Master Nelson ng bagong toys! Loko ka, etong kawad mo nato mas mahal pa sa buong system ko, kaya nga nagsusuot pa ako ng gloves pag hinahawakan baka kasi masira pag nalagyan ng alikabok naming mga poor.

The Mezzo line is nice, from the Mezzo 1 to the Mezzo 8 (Mezzo 9 if you count the sub) maayos lahat tumunog. Unlike sa ibang product lines na may black sheep, dito decent yung performance nung lahat when matched with the right gear.

muka ng cd player na kasunod kakahiya nakakabit tong cardas cross sa blu ray!!!! totoo  guru nelson. kaya hilong hilo ako dyan sa mezzo. napakalinaw at balanced. madali pa i drive. wala pa naman akong pangit narinig na tumunog with the ca 550a. so far 3 palang speaks narinig ko with the ca 550a. numero uno yung mezzo 2 at di nagkakalayo yung avant 916i at carnival 6(siguro sa higher volume settings angat na 916i). lahat sila na drive ng mabuti nitong 60 watter.

Tumataas ang stocks ng mining dahil sa demand sa tanso ng negosyo ni Master Nelson. Partida, sa wiring pa lang ng CCTV yun! 

Ituloy mo na yang CDP at Phono Stage, baka mabigyan ka ni Ronnie ng good price hanggang August. Tapos ikabit natin yan gear mo sa iba ibang speaks hehehe.

Joey, dalhin natin yun 550a mo sa Audioworld para ma-evaluate mo yun RX2. Pero parang masbagay ang PX2 sa type of music mo.

Dinala ni Master Razel ang gear nya sa Watt HiFi today to compare the following speaks:

1. PSB Image B6 (correction hindi pala T6)
2. B&W 685
3. Mission 792

Interesting results, but I wasn't surprised at all.

Very true indeed. That is what I call a midrange to die for.

Owning a pair before the marketwide release is a bonus.

It's No. 1 sir --- from the new Image line. This one's a huge improvement over its already good predecessor. The B6 is on the warm side of neutral, and matches great with brighter-sounding gear (or at least with neutral-sounding gear).

True. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much from the B6 as I was more inclined towards getting the Mission or the B&W. We had them listen and compare the three for more than an hour. In the end, it was the B6 who emerged as the speaker of choice for my gear. The 550a together with the B6 sounded warm but still retained the details, a CA signature.

It's not the warm signature that convinced me though (I don't buy gear for warmth), it's really that majestic midband which was infinitely more tuneful and open. It's like a frequency window that was pulled right off a true high end speaker.

Guru Joey's Mezzo 2 is still more detailed, has more air around instruments, layers better and stages deeper (the Image stage is wide but not nearly as deep). Guru Razel's prior speak of choice (RX2) still has a tighter and more focused low end (great for pounding music), and can probably fill a bigger room much better.

To us, the B6 just had that near-perfect midrange that made us almost ignore the merely above average highs (great, but not class-leading), and the enhanced lows that almost border on being rich. It's like that very special entree in a dinner a' la russe that uplifts the overall experience. Something that you remember fondly, which lets you forgive the other shortcomings.

You should hear Guru Razel's system, Master Parker. It's a very convincing combination. The B6 midrange is like a portion cropped from a truly high end speaker, and melded with less lofty lows and highs (but are still quite good for its price range).

By the way, I've heard my third dose of JMlab Utopias today. This time it's the older Alto Utopia Be. This was powered by Bryston separates and a nice digital front end. Oh my, it was just so nice. This reminds me of my last dose (with the Scala Utopia), which was just as impressive. This speaker line can surely bring people to utopia. 

If anyone wants to part with 5.3M for a Grande pair, please invite us for an audition.

visited ronnie today and auditioned the cd players.
my priorities are...hmmmm...really mezzy this time . fantastic bookshelves!!! highs unbeatable. mids very clear . beautiful bass...so natural.

It seems like you're about to purchase a pair of Mezzos. They are nice speakers indeed. I think they sound best from 3-4m away (not possible in their demo room).

The higher model JMlab speaks are really nice. Very natural sounding. Tawag namin dito Kryptonite... maski anong ganda ng system mo, tatablan ka pa rin. Di ko lang alam if they will meld well with the Cambridge Audio sound, baka sumobrang bright na (both brands tend to have a signature brightness).

I was looking at this speak before I went with the B&W. I didn't get to hear it with Cambridge gear, but it wasn't my cup of tea when it was hooked up with Rotel electronics (it still sounded good, but it lacked that special touch). It sounded great with Rega and Arcam amplification.

Yeah. Both my wife and i use to love that superbark. Ako, i love it even better! Unfortuntely, my wife doesn't anymore. She prefers the older sloppier superbark version.  According to Master Ivan, it "excites" the room. Best heard at a different room. Still looking for the optimal position.

Bare pa lang. Naka-sando pa lang. Baka this week, maging grande na.  Ibang iba ang reproduction niya sa low freqs. Si master guru audio god Stagea ba naman ang nagdesign eh. Sarap demonyohin si Joey sa HT! Sayang lang di na niya naabutan yun CA receiver ni Ojofool.
