cguro i will audition the ca 650a at trinoma pag nagkaroon ng time and also the onkyo 5avl sa AV shop. medyo mababa nga lng ung power rating ng onkyo compared to ca but onkyo have lot of features, i like the dac and the low power consumption ng onkyo. sayang nga, sana nkasama ako.

sobra mababait ang mga taga trinoma branch but their audi space is too small. try to call 5t avenue muna and see if they can arrange the 650a at shang or park square. goodluck

sana magustuhan mo ang CA para madagdagan naman ang CA user sa pdvd.

The 650A will be enough to drive your LSi7. Though di ko pa naririnig ang CA + LSi combo. CA (dynamic and detailed) + LSi (warm and laid back) = ?

Also, there are no later versions after 650A. You may be referring to the 640A and 740A, which are both good sounding by the way, only a bit brighter than the 550A and 650A.

Oh they are. The 350A, 550A and 650A are designed to work with 4 ohm nominal speakers (or higher). The older integrated Azurs (340A, 540A, 640A, 740A and 840A) are designed to take 3 ohm nominal (or higher) speakers. The 840W power amp is designed to take 2 ohm nominal (or higher) speakers in stereo mode.

mine is CA Azur 650a. there is no v2 of this model yet afaik

nagkataon lang siguro na halos parehas tayo ng type ng tunog thats why im enjoying the sound of CA. but for others who are wondering how the CA will integrate with their system, best pa din to audition muna at magdala ng type na music material.

Meron yan dati signature... punong puno ng 840 kasama halos lahat ng letters sa alphabet... A, C, E, W, etc

they have different character, but they both blend well with CA imo. price to performance ratio siguro may edge ang mezzo.

LSi7 always sounded sweet and clean but quite warm/dark to me especially compared to speakers i usually listen to. but when partnered with the CA, nagkaroon ng better treble extension and detail, though a tad warm pa din, which i think made the overall sq more balanced.

thanks for the input sir, maybe lsi7 needs more power to make it sing well and a high-end CA integrated amp will be a good partner. but the problem is... no budget

for high end CA. maybe i will look for a power amp(kahit preowned) at least 150 watts into 8 ohm, capable and stable of driving 4 ohm speaker.

welcome bro. but i think kaya naman in fact kahit a5vl na 45 watts kinakaya. pero syempre iba pa rin yung busog na busog. go for the 840a if you want more power, alam ko naka sale yan baka abutin ng budget.

Nice! That's a very good price. Presyong 740A na lang. Sigurado they chopped the price din sa 740A.
