is the front side a bit thin compared to other steelbooks? my R1 version is a bit thin.. you can easily push it in..

the impression i get is it's kinda deformed looking, due in part to the embossed title.  and now that you've mentioned it, yeah it does look thin.  but at least, it's not the finger print magnet that was the transformers and gangster steelbooks.
any suggestions on how to get rid of the ugly mtrcb(?)sticker up front though?  im wary as to how to go about it, i might scratch the finish!

Yes, it is. So much thinner than all my other steelbooks. I wonder if that's because of the embossed design.

I don't think it's because of the embossed design. The Indiana Jones Trilogy steelbook also has an embossed design but it's not thin like the Cloverfield steelbook.

Both Indy Jones and Cloverfield steel cover wobble when pressed...

Watched the movie, I watched it in halves, so hindi naman nahilo.  The shaky cam adds to the atmosphere, as long as you can stomach the shakiness...

almost finished the movie and dizziness comes due to shakiness of the cam :'(

mas ok pa yung diary of the dead, ganito din yung style but medyo ok naman yung pag focus nila ng cam...

I opted to get the regular, non-steelbook edition. The steelbook case felt kind of flimsy.
