Who can't resist such releases?

This is normally the part of the year, where gift sets/limited editions/deluxe editions of the past US Summer Blockbuster are released (not only in US, around the world.. this is normally the time were Korea/Japan/Europe are packaging/releasing "better editions") .

More than a year, I stopped buying last October 2004. Nag moratorium muna ako. During that same span of time, I also stopped visiting pinoydvd, mahirap na, baka di ko maresist temptation

But now, I'm back to my good old ways...

this is my longest without a purchase. after Munich LE, i did not buy any dvds. i promised myself that i would watch all 300 titles still unopened.

it "dawned" to me one day that "buying" and not collecting/watching dvds became the meaning of this hobby. the realization, among other things, helped me stop and look for awhile. now, i have dedicated myself in watching and appreciating each dvd.

i may not have the slipcased release for stopping but i feel better and fully immersed at the end of each viewing session.

.. next month, i'll start buying some dvds again: V for Vendetta, Kong Tin and The Little Mermaid.

Some people have given up also this hobby, but its keep on coming back, maybe you'll only lie-low for a while, wrath, then, back again in buying frenzy.

Is it because of the new formats like Blu-ray & HD, dvds?

Dark years came to me from 2001 to 2004, and stopped collecting origs, and have 60-70 titles before those years. Only when I became a PinoyDVD member and upgraded to my current set-up did I started purchasing DVDs again...now, im planning to have a DVD diet after months of DVD SARS.

dami pa naman bago..V for vendetta, Inside man, Final Destination thrill-ogy, Poseidon, United 93 and so on....

pagdating ng order ko na Voltron, back to 0 count ulit ako

been theater watching lately, so i'm not that keen on buying dvds as of late.

A month ago. I bought Ratchet & Clank for my PS3 and I have been hooked in finishing the game. Put aside my dvd buying &watching for awhile. While playing the game, I realized that games are more value for the money than dvds. You get to play & enjoy the software for a longer time and you can go start and finish the game all over again and again. You can also surf the net for walkthroughs and cheats to finish the game faster. BTW, I am not a gamer.

Last DVD I got was Zapped but it was a gift from my sister.
