Update: Jan-June 2008just want to share my gears, originally set-up was confined only in our living area, but since january, our house has been undergoing renovation and was able to convince my wife to turning one room into a mixed-use (media + ht + guests) room. since february 2008, i have been busy buying and accumulating stuff for the new mixed-use room (partly new purchases, partly pre-owned from friends and even from fellow pdvd members). Update: Dec 2008some changes made to the room, added a pj and screen, so the media room is now a full-fledged ht + computer room. added some photos to the set-up. Update: March 2009upgraded my receiver, from an onkyo 604 to an onkyo 806. sounds great and its black too. since i ordered this from stateside, have to buy a new omni voltage regulator for it. also added a couple of acoustic panels and bass traps to further improve sq. Update: June & July 2009my first time to invest in audio, i have decided to set it up in our bedroom. this is all strictly diy components, except for sources, everything are made by some of the master diy'ers of pinoy dvd!
change my promac dvd karaoke to a 160gb hdd based kumyoung vivaus mini karaoke. plays live instruments as the accompaniment!!! 
also got a pre-owned m&k v125 thx subwoofer! this one goes deep.... and a pre-owned rotel rcd-971 cd player! worth the wait...Update: August 2009installed speaker spikes on my clones for improved bass quality, got a super pro dac 707 to be connected to my old dell latitude laptop, now my digital music are alive again. flac files sounds like music from a compact disc! Update: September 2009sold my wharfedale atlantics, and bought a pre-owned atlantic technology system 350 thx!!! now my receiver, sub and speakers are all thx certified. Update: October 2009got a month old ps3 slim at great price from a fellow pdvd member. bluray player and game console in one! now i am going back to my gaming roots. Update: January 2010got a less than a year old svs pb10-nsd subwoofer at great price from a fellow pdvd member. BOOM BOOM POW! Update: February 2010got a xtreamer media player and the etrayz nas with 3tb wd green caviars Update: August 2010my 6 year old 43" philips rear projection tv just conked out on me. went out and got from sns a LG 42LD460, great service from sir vic's staff as usual. great lcd too. initial candidates were panasonic 42x20 plasma, toshiba regza 40cv700 and this LG.Update: October 2010got the SVS AS-EQ1 subwoofer equalization of another PDVD member! Update: December 2010got myself a second xtreamer for my living room! Update: December 2010upgraded to a svs pb-12 plus! goes down to 16hz!Update: January 2011brought down my audio set-up from my bedroom to the living room, got some omni mounts from black friday at amazon, finally came 1st week january, now installed!Update: November 2011sold my whole audio set-up, not being used, better some other people enjoy it, and more money for me for my photography hobby!Update: October 2012upgraded my benq w500 720p pj to an epson powerlite 8100 1080p pj!
