I just watched Inglorious Basterds last night, man I want the steelbook

May I ask how do you guys bring in these steelbooks from futureshop? Do they take local credit card? Paano the shipping? Ganda sa amazon usa they take local credit card.

I have friends in Canada that obtain Steelbooks for me. Other than that you have to use ebay, fleabay evilbay or what ever you call it.

Just waiting for my copy of the Best buy exclusive Bullet Proof Vest edition of District 9 to arrive so that I can pop my D9 Steelbook into.

No, Futureshop does not accept local credit cards and no they don't ship outside Canada. I usually obtain FS steels thru ebay but sometimes I join group buys in the international forums.

I prefer the Inglourious Basterds German steel over the FS one though.

Ok thanks, the only way I buy my steelbooks is from amazon usa thru the secondary sellers

Steelbook shop has a lot but its sooo expensive :'(

. I thought Brad Pitt was really good on this one

Bagay na bagay siya for that character. Some scenes kept me on the edge of my seat (wanting to know what will happen). There are also some scenes that are funny

I see, so it's basically a World War II movie.. not really my cup of tea but I just might watch it out of curiosity (I do like Tarantino films).

Futureshop only accept US & Canadian Issued Credit Cards. They strictly ship in Canada only.

Its a well worth 2009 for me, I got lucky in obtaining all of them (being a non-resident of Canada).

District 9 is probably the hardest to get (and Im fortunate despite the major blunder Futureshop did with online orders - they cancelled all online orders!)

HURT LOCKER - Bestbuy Steelbook Exclusive

This is specifically meant for US - since the Bluray (same as the bluray logo printed in front of it) disc & movie information is part of the steelbook art printed at the back of it and not just a silly paper sleeve.

Now thats add up validity of a future rarity.

This release is Weird yet Admirable (in a different way)

1. First Summit released steelbook in North America
2. First Bluray with a dvd sized steelbook that has printed Bluray logo
3. The Movie is not bad, its actually good blindbuy movie
4. Steelbook collectors dislike it
5. Its superbly rare/limited in quantity

^^ I was polarized about it at first because of the size and such, but then just a few hours ago a friend in the states (who also works at BestBuy) blackberried me that they had only one copy arrive, most stores just 1 or 2, so against all the misgivings i had, I bit.

The French District 9 IS locked to zone B and there are only French subtitles available. ie: during the Alien dialogue scenes.
