+1. Kaya nga yung 499 dual def natin maraming choices para di ka mag stick sa isang show. Palipat lipat ng channels pag may time para iwas IR. Ako Plasma 51" gamit ko, kaya naka favorites yung mga HD channels, pag commercial sa History lipat ng Nat Geo, HBO or Fox Movies Premium tapos nagkaron pa ng RTL, Warner at Lifetime then ang latest E.

Hello Guys!!!

Magtatanong lang po ako kung compatible ba yung HD box ni Sky pag ang TV na gamit mo is from other country.

Galing sa Macau yung TV ko which is LG 37LH20FD. Gumagana naman siya sa TV lang saka sa SD box namin ngayon. Kasi doon sa country settings niya ang options lang doon is Hong Kong, China saka Mainland China lang. Wala naman ba problem pag kinabit na yung HD box via HDMI?

anybody having a recent problem of the box freezing? i needed to turn it off from the main switch.

Yung sa Panasonic plasma ko bought from S&S sometime ago, walang sound through HDMI. We had to hook up a speaker connected sa HD box. Not sure exactly kung saan galling yung TV, but according sa nagkabit, they had similar issues daw with some Sony models. Anyone here with a sony can confirm?

yes regularly past few days. and yes unplugging solves it for me also. but not freezing while watching, just random stuck-ups, boots, shutdowns etcs

Panasonic P42X30 ng kapatid ko wala din audio through HDMI, we tried other HDMI devices, same HDMI cable may audio naman at everything is normal, kaya yung HDMI ng Digibox ang may problem.

The technician tried other HD boxes, wala talaga audio, so it seems like a compatibility issue.

Yung LG LCD TV ko kasi naka-set yung country niya sa Hong Kong kasi doon galing sa Macau(pareho kasi doon kung anong models ang release sa HK). Wala kasi yung Philippines sa country settings niya. Meron kasi siyang built-in digital TV tuner that works only in HK/Macau so hindi gumagana yun dito. Pag analog TV it works normal. Hindi naman ba magkakaroon ng compatibility issues pag iba ang country settings ng TV yung HD digibox pag kinabit sa HDMI? Gumagana naman siya dito pag naka-antenna lang at sa SD box na gamit namin ngayon. NTSC/PAL at Full HD(1920x1080) naman siya.

saan ba gumawa ng splitter? sa HD box o sa main? kung sa HD Box malamang yan ang culprit.
Try mo nag splitter sa main. HTH

Got me the dual def 999. Then i added additional HD channels, i now have a total of 30 HD channels for 1.4k a month which beats the 1799 of cignal, so far so good...

Yup I agree cheaper. I can't believe that when be bumped into a Cignal employee earlier, they told us they have a P150 maintenance fee every month incase there is a problem with the subscriber's satellite dish and satellite box. I find that fee nonsense. With SkyCable, everything is free as long as you are a subscriber. They can easily replace your cable box and faulty cables for FREE as long as you are a subscriber.

Yup.. so far i'm very happy with Sky,

After the install, i noticed that i have HD channels that's getting an E48 error, i called the Hotline Sunday morning to report the issue. They said that the issue is because the signal i'm getting is not strong enough. We checked and i'm only getting 50% and they said normally should be getting 75%. They said they will fix the issue..

I went out for some errands and returned afternoon, when i turned on the TV and tried to Scan the channels, i noticed that the signal was now bumped to 78-80%. After searching, all channels are now viewable except for the ones that i'm not subscribed to..

It's been a week and no issues so far. All HD channels are crystal clear..

My question, do they broadcast Dolby Digital or DTS signal? Kasi when i tried to connect it to my receiver, hindi nya ma detect na Dolby Digital ang mga movies..

Most HD fields and sone SD channels broadcast in Dolby Digital 5.1 or Dolby 2 channels. If you have an HD box, the sound is sent to your TV by default because of the HDMI cable.

I think cignal ata produce 5.1 dolby on some of there channels like fox movies premium, ...

My HD Box is connected directly to my Receiver pero di ma detect ni reciever na DD or DTS yung signal, stereo lang lagi. Wala naman option sa HD box to change the Audio STream option

Check ko kung may optical out yung HD Digibox...

Check mo baka SPDIF coax, kasi yung akin Coaxial lang meron at walang optical

I really don't know what is his purpose to post that here, na ang late na. Laki ang logo ng cignal sa advertisement and also The promo is up to april 6 lang. Pang asar lang to sky subscribers? di na nga kelangan tumawag e Kung tutuusin.didnt they email you e name and contact number of your account manager?what I do is I just text him for any programming changes,bill disputes,etc and that's it,easy as pie.
