I finally did it!

This afternoon I downgraded to Dual Def 999. Never been more happier & I can't believe I didn't do this dati pa. Imagine ang savings ko sana kung dati ko pa ginawa. Galing ng plan na to because it has ALL the SD channels that we watch. Wala na kong dinagdag. HD lang dinagdag ko which was NBA Premium HD which is SOOOOO overpriced @ P350 at ala carte pa yun. I retained CI HD which is only P20 (ala carte). Nagulat ako may mga HD channels siyang kasama na hindi naka-indicate sa site ng Sky at sa sinabi ng agent like E! HD; Aquarium Channel HD tsaka hindi nawala ang ch 176 which is Fox Sports 3 HD na dapat daw di kasama at sabi pa ng agent na di rin available yun as ala carte & only part of their package (not that I watch it kasi mas ok pa ata yung Fox Sports 1 or 2).

Weird lang yung mas higher Dual Def plans kasi yun pa yung walang ANC & DZMM Teleradyo.

Buti naman at masaya ka sa pag kaka downgrade ng plan mo. I agree sa NBA package na overpriced kaya kapag playoffs lang ako nag papakabit then after finals pinapa alis ko kaagad. By the way, kung gusto mo pa mag add ng additional box, and alam ko sa plan999 ang cost lang ng HD box eh P350 then 250 per month. Sumatotal mababa pa rin total bill mo compare sa dati. Pero gawin mo siguro after 2 months. Sa plan 549 kasi P1,300 and cost ng HD Box.

I noticed that the SkyCable HD Digibox with HCBS logo/text in the lower front right not only has a USB port (used to record videos to a USB drive) but also an Ethernet port at the back. Does anybody in here know what the Ethernet port is used for (assuming I connect an Ethernet cable with Internet into said port)?

sakin din kanina but it wasn't just NBA Premium, even other channels. Akala ko it was because I left the digibox on overnight so I turned off the power and turned it back on. Pero after a few minutes, back to normal na.

Oo nga. Parang diesel pala itong stb. Everything went back to normal after about 10 minutes. My box was from a cold start, while yours was on overnight. It must've been a problem on sky's side then.

theory ko is sinasadya nila patagalin. kung kelan malapit na, gugulatin tayo sa presyo. but since malapit na nga yung fight, wala ka ng option kundi kunin yun.

I'm having interference/artifacts issues with my digibox whenever my ps4 is plugged in via HDMI. The problem stops when I disconnect the HDMI cable of the ps4. I have an LG 42ub820t if it matters. Any suggestions?

HD na ba ito? Plano naman batchmates dun kami sa bar ng friend ko. Papa PPV na kami ng HD with projector and wide screen tapos brunch na lang siguro singil kami tig P1K each.. pwede na yun...
