I switch mine off. May switch siya sa likod ng box, but I don't unplug it. If I leave it on kasi mainit siya masyado. Sayang kuryente hehe.

Matagal bang kabitan ng sky cable? Parang may nabasa ako na pag kausap mo yung agent sa olx ba yun or somewhere, mas mabilis nila mapapa kabit yung line.

Balak ko kasi magpakabit sa BF, Paranaque area. Dual Def 999.

Anyone knows a sky agent that can assist me (fast installation)?

Also, kelangan ba talagang lagyan ng lightning arrester or hindi naman? I've read kasi that it degrades the picture quality. TY

Imho, better to go through an agent. Mas masipag sila trumabaho to get an account kasi commission based sila.
Paranaque area ka rin pala.

Anyway, is there a way na bilisan yung pag appear ng video when you change channels sa digibox? Sobrang bagal kasi lalo na pag HD channels. It takes around 2 seconds+ for the picture to appear.

FYI, im using the new digibox without a card reader (the small one). I just had my sky cable installed yesterday so i believe eto yung pinaka bagong digibox.

^I didn't notice this while channel surfing nung unlocked and lahat ng channels. Our HD box is the bigger one -- Skyworth ang brand.

press menu, under channel listing tab, select desired channel inside "favorite" column, save and exit

press "fav" sa remote.

then use up and down buttons na lng. only the channels selected will appear.
others will be skipped.

Sayang nga yung time na unlocked lahat ng channel. Hindi ko alam kung ano papanuorin ko sa dami ng HD channels na naka open. Hindi na nga ako naglipat sa SD channels.

I'm getting the travel HD channel for free kahit hindi sya kasama sa plan ko. But the weird thing is, sa extension box lang sya meron sa main box wala. hehe

Sa hotline lang din ako nag apply, ako namili ng araw na pupunta sila. 3 days after ako mag-apply. Dumating naman after 3 days and activated na before they leave. Ok naman, walang naging problem up to now, almost 2 years na.

Agent means subcon or authorized ng skycable. Nag inquire ako kahapon thru customer service pero next week pa daw ako pwede mapuntahan. Nag try ako thru agent na recommend ni xghost kanina umaga at nainstall at na activate agad before lunch. Very well satisfied sa service at may receipt naman na binigay.

Just made the switch from Gold 1100 to Dual Def 999

Then via Sky Cable Select, we added two channels which only took less than 5 minutes (after answering some security questions for account and user verification). The channels are:

1) Channel 46 - Animax SEA (re-addition)

And

2) 189 - Comedy Central HD

Gumanda talaga ang overall Pay TV viewing experience ngayon kumpara sa dati =)

pag sa agent ka sir nag apply mabilis makabitan..kc lagi nila kasama ang mga contractor or installer ng sky..pag sa hotline for sked ka pa;tnx

sir paki consider po ang sky agent sa field mas maasahan sila in terms of fast installation ng service ng sky..dependable,reliable and trustworthy cila.since commision base lang sila sigurado maikakabit ka agad ng mga agent sa field.09174845629

my folks currently have gold and not able to take advantage of the hdbox as abscbn at balls lang ang libre. baka magbundle sila with internet. ill try to convince them na mag dual def na lang. at mag select na lang sa mg channels na gusto pa rin mapanuod na mawawala.

ilang channels ang nawala from gold to dual def 999? disney junior ang importante para sa mga apo.
