Anyways, Fox Sports Asia already has broadcast rights for UFC here in the Asian region. This gives FIC HK/Singapore the chance to have broadcast rights for UFC in our Philippine territory.

I'd rather have FIC Asia air UFC rather than ABS-CBN (and their CPI division). CPI is good for channel distribution BUT they are not good at airing their own TV channels.

I think similar ito with EPL. MP&Silva (isa sa mga broadcast rights holder ng EPL) told ABS-CBN dati to remove all EPL programming sa Balls......kasi na-launch na ng MP&Silva ang BEIN SPORT (which Sky Cable is carrying).

UAAP HD lang din habol ko sa Balls at replay kapag hindi napakanuod. Surely hanapan ng ABS-CBN na lagay sa ibang channel ang UAAP HD.

Mukhang ang rights lang sa ufc talaga sila natalo... I saw on their website starting jan 1 may abs cbn sports action hd na... So di mawawala mga uaap at ncaa plus tennis daw in hd....

that sucks. even if Fox can show the Fight Nights, can they show the PPVs (like UFC 194 etc) for free? Not only that but do they even show UFC's other shows like Insider etc? Kala ko pa naman ok ang Balls. Maiintindihan ko pa kung yung ABS-CBN Sports + Action will go off the air but not Balls.

Balls is owned by Sky. During the time nagkaruon ng dispute ang sky & solar, nawala sa sky yung mga solar channels like btv & solar sports kaya sky created their own sports channel w/c is balls.

I think lilipat lang sa abs cbn sports+action yung mga program ng balls, not sure kung kasama ufc.

Imho better na kunin ng Fox International Channels ang UFC rights for the Philippines......kasi they know how to run and operate a channel better than CPI.

I mean tingnan mo pa lang ang Balls HD:
-50 percent sports programming
-50 percent ads ng Sky Cable (na paulit-ulit pa)

Anong klaseng channel operations yan? Sobrang patapon

ABS-CBN Sports + Action HD by January-01-2016
- ito ang sagot ng SkyCable sa mawawalang BALLS HD
- UAAP and other local sporting events that ABS-CBN is supporting transfer lang nila dito (from BALLS HD)
- The BIG Question is what will happen to the likes of: UFC, ATP Grandslams etc.
- SkyCable is cooking something for us and we'll know that by January 2016

Ewan ko........pero highly unlikely imho given that on-going pa rin ang kontrata between PBA and TV5 (which is valid until 2016; with an option to renew).

So atm, these are your sources to watch PBA games on TV:

As for PBA in HD, your current options are:
1) Kumuha ka ng Cignal (e.g. they have an HD channel na may PBA games)
and/or
2) Subscribe ka to Fox Sports 1 HD via Sky Cable Select

I saw from the comments section of one post from Sky that UFC is now with Cignal on their Hyper channel (?). Checked Cignal's page and... It says TV5/Cignal will have UFC starting January.

Mas marami pa rin ang total HD channels ng Sky (e.g. AXN HD, Mezzo Live HD, Cinemax HD, etc.) compared to Cignal
