Are the new media players that are 3d capable can work as stand alone 3d player? I have a 3d pj and was wondering if I only need to upgrade my old media player to the newer models and just buy 3d glasses? If so what's the best out there with attractive gui. Thanks! Btw, my pj is the acer 5360

Check mo bro Egreat R6s. For me this is the best bang for buck 3D iso capable NMT

Anyone has experience using an external BD-ROM for the NMT?

AC Ryan Play ON HD2; Essential; mini2 and Play ON 3D can read BD ISO files with out any problem. It plays flawlessly.

The key thing here is to get as many 1080p files as you can.

You could look also for remux and iso files. They work flawlessly with my previous R6s and now R300 pro

Sa BDMV and ISO 2D ok, in fact, in some players, no way for you to skip the pre trailers (i.e. sony movies bluray trailer etc)

newbie question po sa NMT file and player.

anong 3D mkv file na pwede mo panoorin in 2D? gusto ko malaman para yun ang e save ko sa hdd para isang file lang. ayaw ko na may 2D ISO then may 3D ISO of the same title.

at anong player ang pwede nito?

mga 3D.iso can be played by the NMT, at least in the R300 Pro, it will see the stream being played as 3D, but if it senses my display is 2D, it will play the 2D.

you can also force it to display out 2D via the menu button that you can call during playback, so you simply switch.

you (i think) can switch 2D movies to simulated 3D via the same menu button.

thanks for the feedback bro. i am interested only in full 3D BD ISO to 2D kasi 4 lang ang 3D glasses ng pj ko. kung marami kaming manood, i will switch the movie to 2D para masaya lahat. at iisang file nalang ang nasa hdd of the same title.

Egreat R160 has eject option, to allow you to gracefully eject your media. (parang yung Safe to power off.

The R6S, and R300 naman, has safe shutdown feature, and may eject feature as well.

pinakamura is to repartition your 3TB most new 1185/1186 can read 3TB.
