The Cape

Opening a new thread for the new mid-season series The Cape.

I dunno if this is going to last but since it has Summer Glau, I'll watch it until it gets cancelled. Besides, its pulpy superhero theme is kinda interesting.

Its been described as a stupid version of Batman but can't argue with this:

downloading it because of Summer Glau..

Her guest stint in Chuck was a wasted opportunity but her long legs were worth it.  ;D

I'll watch it for Summer Glau, too. But if this turns out to be another Heroes... well...  :P

Just saw the first two episodes. It's a lot like Daredevil. Shallow and abrupt. Or rather, a poor man's Batman Begins. It's like they condensed 6 episodes into two. The only good thing about the show is Summer Glau and they don't use her enough as it is.

I hope it gets better, maybe have them flesh out all the relationships that just seem to happen out of thin air.

Due to low ratings, NBC has cut The Cape's total number of ordered episodes from 13 to 10.

Not a good sign.
