FHM had their share of sexiest women recently, now ANG PINAKA comes up with their own list of the most beautiful filipino women in Philippine showbiz based on YES Magazine's Top 100. Note that the list borders on wholesome looks. Panelists were: Grace Beltran, MD - Surgeon, Raymund Isaac - Photographer, Barbi Chan - Make-Up Artist, Joe Chua - Photographer, Bambbi Fuentes - Make-Up Artist, Candace Lim - OIC, YES Magazine

10. IZA CALZADO - Classic beauty!
9. ROXANNE GUINOO
8. GRETCHEN BARRETTO
7. JODI STA. MARIA
6. BEA ALONZO - liked her sweet face
5. RUFFA GUTIERREZ
4. KRISTINE HERMOSA
3. DAWN ZULUETA - really love her face

For me, Iza should have come higher above those emerging young actresses. Overall, I love the choices.

The show and panelists probably assumed that viewers already know that they're referring to new and not-so-new artists. The ones you mentioned would put all those in the list to shame. Well, except Iza. Hehe. I used to watch her in ESP even though the show is a poor carbon copy of The Ghost Whisperer and Tru Calling.

I'd go for IZA CALZADO and DAWN ZULUETA...Forget the whores Ruffa and Gretchen. Pretty faces, no talent whatsoever.

KC Concepcion's face has this "sawa" factor. I see her face everywhere that I become so damn sick of it.

Nice choices. Dawn has always projected a 'fresh face' since her early career in showbiz in the '80's. As for the other two you mentioned, panelists made it very clear they are referring to physical attributes. Hence, they made it.

I like Iza Calzado and Jodi Sta. Maria. Iza, as aptly described by thegoodbyeguy, is a classic beauty. She's someone I would call "beautiful" and not just "pretty". Jodi's beauty, on the other hand, radiates from within and no amount of make up or plastic surgery can give that aura to a woman.

Yeah, used to catch her on F (remember that Studio 23 show?) along with Daphne Osena and Amanda Griffin. I used to watch the show because of its hosts.

Its a matter of preferences. But i Disagree with these ladies being on the list:
ROXANNE GUINOO - Mas maraming magagandang faces ang makikita mo sa mga Malls compared sa kanya.
RUFFA GUTIERREZ - overrated beauty. Nakakasawa tingnan.

Another one for IZA. She registered so well even in a horror movie. Remember the YAYA episode of SHAKE, RATTLE & ROLL PART 8? Her role in that episode is a fusion of mystery, beauty and creepiness. Saw her recently in SAPI episode of OBRA and the observation's just the same.
