Heads up everyone! Warner is holding their 85th Anniversary Sale in Astroplus Podium starting this Friday, July 25, up to Sunday, July 27.

I just got back from Astro V-Mall. They also told me that they have a Warner Sale starting Friday July 25 - Sunday, July 27.

So you have to possible venues for Warner deals this upcoming weekend, people. 

Then begin saving up again, since I hear the next BIG sales in the V-Mall Branch will be in OCTOBER. And really BIG daw yata...

The Block is participating in a general mall-wide event so the discounts for Warner titles won't be as aggressive. Same with the V-Mall sale this weekend.

The 85th Anniversary Sale will visit Greenhills sometime in August though.

Btw, I just came from there and saw that the Beowulf Director's Cut CE (with the booklet and the notebook) was further reduced to Php425. The Looney Tunes Collection was down to Php599 and Challenge of the Super Friends Season 2 box was a steal at Php199.

The Corpse Bride CE (lenticular + book) was a misprice last weekend. It's the regular version that's Php125.

For those who already visited the Trinoma sale: aside from some additions, the 85th Anniversary sale catalog is practically identical. Warner is just changing venues to make it more convenient for customers.

In my case, I was really just after Big Red One: The Reconstruction and Blade Runner: The Final Cut. Found 'em both so that's it for now.

Went home with a minimum damage.

Oh I love that Boz Scaggs Greatest Hits 2 CD!  Been playing this over and over again since last weekend.  For P50 ( or P25 per cd ), that's a major steal.
