Flashpoint follows the lives of SRU cops, the unit responsible for high-risk situations -- from hostage rescues to gang busts to bombs. Every day is a race against the clock to protect lives all while dealing with the stress of the situations.

I loved the first episode and I'll be watching episode 2 later tonight.

i watched the 1st episode last night. Am not sure kung drama or action ito, parang boring na nakakabitin, hehehe....

anyway, will try to watch the next few episodes. Am looking for the action type of movie kasi, parang 24, kaya medyo na bore ako dito sa 1st episode.... but that's just me

Hahaha! You're right. This isn't like 24 na tuloy-tuloy yun story, with cliffhanger endings every episode.

Ako naman, I prefer tv shows that feature self-contained stories with recurring character beats and long background story arcs. Like CSI. The likes of 24 and Prison Break, I wait for the season to end and then watch them in a marathon session.

Turns out that their strongest episodes are the tear-jerkers. Episode 5 is a good example.

I agree with you here sir indie. Watching this episode while holding my daughter in my arms, thinking what if this was me. Wouldn't you do the same? Episode 3 was also a tear jerker, although its ending was expected for more impact. As of the 4 episodes I've seen, the pilot was the least I liked

Manny Pacquiao was mentioned in the latest episode of Flashpoint. And take note, it wasn't mentioned as the 'Dela Hoya fight', or the Dela Hoya-Pacquiao fight. It was 'The Pacquiao fight.' Wow! Manny Pacquiao is indeed a global superstar!

Was the season ender really Planets Aligned? Just a normal episode, no cliffhanger whatsoever? It should've been Season 2's Between Heartbeats, which brings back the pilot episode story.

Episodes 10 - 13 of Season 1 have been billed as episodes 1 - 4 of Season 2 by CBS and CTV in North America only. In international markets, Season 2 begins with "Business As Usual".
