It looks like they're making up the stories as they go along. The "Ifrit" storyline was the most pointless, unnecessary plot of the entire series.

This is the only finale where I am so happy because the series is over. It has bled many seasons ago and just like the vampire that it is, it has sucked all the ideas out of its writers. A wedding, a banquet, kids. Did a 10 year old write this? Goodbye True Blood. It's the true death that you deserve.
