how do you protect your slipcases?
« on: Nov 29, 2008 at 01:05 PM »
a recent post about the wall-e r1 discs being scratch magnets because of the packaging got me thinking about, well, packaging and slipcases to be exact.  how do you protect your slipcases?  it's not a problem with r3 releases because usually the slipcase is shrink wrapped along with the amaray.  not so with r1, since it's only the amaray which is wrapped.  i ve always placed as much premium on the packaging as well as the dvd and im wondering how other members protect their slipcases from the eventual effects of wear and tear.

any thoughts?

^ I use that too, thick plastic. I hoarded some and also use it for my steels. Yup, too bad they don't sell it anymore.

I used to this as well but not with a hairdryer.. I use a "sealer" that's being sold in hardware shops.. bought it for P1200+ dati.. naubusan nga lang ako ng plastic so I stopped.. still have the "sealer" though..

Ask the people that sell pirated dvd's. They can get it for you. ;)
