It looks like "Survivor: Gabon" will call QTV -- home...I read that news in a tabloid, I think it's Abante Tonite...wow, I wonder if this means that both "Survivor: Gabon" and "Survivor: Philippines" will premiere at the same day...well, the only thing I know is both are set to premiere on September...

I also read about the show on QTV in a major daily, but there's a conflict: According to an ad in Guide magazine, Survivor Gabon begins airing on Friday, September 19, 2PM on the brand new channel, C/S: Origins (Destiny Cable channel 29, going on-air on September 14th).

So maybe two channels will be airing it? Hopefully, or else those on SkyCable will not be getting the show this year.

It looks like 2 channels will carry "Survivor: Gabon"...QTV and C/S Origin, tomorrow at 2pm, right? I guess it all boils down to which channel has the lesser evil (commercials)...

The debut was pushed by CBS by one week, so it should start next week, instead.

Bumping this for today's 2-hour premiere at 2PM local time, on QTV.

Is this still airing on C/S: Origins? I'm not sure, since I haven't checked Destiny recently, and QTV's ads say they're exclusively showing the series.

I've watched the premiere of the latest original SURVIVOR (GABON) to see how it fair. One thing is sure though, this is better than our own Survivor. Fast-paced despite its 2hr. airing. Still, will not likely follow these set of 18 castaways.

You can watch it Dowals every Friday at 2pm (via satellite kuno) and at 7:25pm. There's also a second replay on Saturday at 5:30pm.

Jeff keeps making it sound like it was a stupid move to pick Kelly (when the tribes were mixed). And also that they voted out Jacquie (last week). But i actually thought it was a smart move for Ken. Probst has a penchant for doing this (liking the physical players too much and bashing the weak ones) and it can be annoying sometimes. I'm actually surprised he didn't pound on GC at all at tribal council.

They really missed an opportunity to flush out the immunity idol. If they really wanted GC out they could have surreptitiously made it known to Sugar that they were voting her out and that voting GC out was just to blind-side her. She would have been forced to use it and GC would still have been gone.

The on-air ad I saw said 3:00PM, with replays at night (7:30PM [I think] for the finale, 10PM for the reunion).

Sugar really blew it. She could've won if she voted off Matty or Ken instead. Hardly anyone in the jury likes Crystal. Although he has been getting smug lately, I still think Ken deserves to win but I won't mind Bob or Matty winning. They just didn't do enough outwitting for me.

Saw SURVIVOR: GABON's 3pm telecast. Thanks Mr. Hankey for the heads-up. Wasn't here for a while and thought the finale is still on Friday. By the way, the reunion replay is at 10pm.

Quite a finale! Tense and some little twist at the end. Corrinne 'almost' stole the thunder from Jerri Manthey (The Australian Outback Edition) during the voting. She is for now the most hated contestant in the series. Some may not like her but my heart goes out to Sugar. Love the winner...

...and it's good ol' BOB.
