Buena Vista Home Entertainment will release High School Musical 2 (Extended Edition) on December 11th. The East High Wildcats are gearing up for big fun as they land the coolest summer jobs imaginable. The DVD arrives with a 1.78:1 anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Extras include a never-before-seen music sequence, Rehearsal Cam (watch rehearsal footage along with the movie), High Schol Karaoke (sing lead vocals via optional on-screen lyrics), bloopers and music videos.

Disney Home Entertainment has announced  High School Musical 2 for the 23rd September. Retail will be $34.99. According to the press release, the film will be presented in 1.33:1 full frame along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. Extras will include featurettes (Cast Favorites, On Location, In The Kitchen, Making Of The Exclusive Music Scene), a Music Video “All For One”, a virtual scrapbook bursting with exciting behind-the-scenes moments and more, an exclusive sneak peek at High School Musical 3, and a ticket to see the third film.
