Author Topic: "C/S Origins" GONE; Replaced by Sci-Fi, now GONE, Replaced by UNIVERSAL (Read 2700 times)

C/S-RPN has a new spin-off channel, C/S Origins, and some of its shows are moving to that channel. Unfortunately for those on SkyCable, this is now a Destiny Cable-exclusive channel. C/S Origins begins broadcasting on Sunday, September 14.

Shows moving to C/S Origins are:

Life (Tuesdays, 9PM)

Cold Case (Wednesdays, 8PM)

Without a Trace (Wednesdays, 9PM)

The Dresden Files (Thursdays, 9PM)

Survivor: Gabon (Fridays, 2PM)

Thanks for the info. Any word on what shows will replace the ones above? I suppose the spin-off is also a result of Solar's acquisition of the TV rights for the upcoming PBA season. They'll need to free up the primetime slots on C/S to accommodate the PBA games (which will not start until October).

talagang pinaghahandaan ng solar entertainment ang pba season

hopefully maganda pagka deliver nila and yung mga new equipments gamitin nila para very crisp and clear ang live video feed ng games.

sana gawaan din nila ng show na "PBA Hardwood Classics" and ipakita nila mga classic games ng PBA.

^ How about Heroes? Is Solar transferring the telecast of Season 3 from C/S on RPN to C/S Origin? :'( Or does Solar still own the rights/license to show Heroes locally? I haven't seen any teasers on C/S about the new season (which starts next week in the US).

C/S Origins is gone, it will transfer all of its programming back to C/S9 hence replacing C/S Origins with Sci-Fi.

We're on SkyCable Gold and it was also replaced with Sci-Fi.

One person said in another forum that Solar decided to cancel C/S Origins because only "few" people are watching it.

If I remember correctly, C/S 9 got the contract for the PBA games so Solar pulled out some shows and transferred it to C/S Origin. But Solar still airs the PBA games now. Hmm...

Yes tonedeaf, its commercials proclaim that it's "the home of Law & Order," so you can get your Law & Order fix again.

bad trip. just when i was getting used to watching Medium everyday.

my main beef with this Universal Channel is that every show feels so dated. Parang mga season 1 pa lang ng Law and Order. hahaha.

I've got Cablelink. Universal has disappeared, I now have Warner TV. Guess that doesn't hold true for other cable providers?
