Big question is: will Warner release the R3 version of this in 3D, as well.

As the 3D version is limited to initial shipment, this may be the first Blu-ray title that I pre-order.  ;D

If you are willing to spend @Php 200 for it, buy a 3D DVD (ie Spykids 3D, Shrek 3D, Barbie 3D (I think it's Barbie and the Magic Pegasus but not sure).

What kind of 3D glasses do you think were included in the DVD?

The 3D glasses included with those DVD's is the blue and red one, not the kind that @nk71 is looking for.

The R1 features a lenticular cover.  And the 3d glasses is red-and-green.
