Thanks.  :)  Maunti lang BD steels ko, currently at 32.. mahal eh.  Can afford only about one steel per month.  :'(   Yung DVD steels.. you probably already have most (if not all) of the ones I own.    ;) ;D

So I watched this movie (Ninja) over the weekend and... I wouldn't recommend it for the story.  But if you're into martial arts action, then yes, you'll definitely appreciate this film.  I consider this a B movie, not really too impressed with how it was made... mediocre acting to say the least.  Only thing I liked about it are the fight sequences.  Magaling si Scott Adkins.  Ganda pa ng katawan.  LOL

At least the steelbook packaging is nice.  With regards to Scott Adkins, pass ako...lol   Thanks for the film review... ;)

Blank SteelBook cases available at amazon.de for EUR 5.00 each.  It is even available as a 3-pack for EUR 9.00.



This is very nice for customization purposes - now you can have your weddings, birthdays, and other special occasion videos stored in steelbook casing with your own design pa.  I can even make a steelbook case for my favorite movies that are not in steelbook ( like Fighter in the Wind)

The downside is... wait 'til the pirates get a hold of this.  I dread the thought...

Also, what would this mean for us sb collectors now that blank steelbook cases are available in the market like amaray cases.  will this diminish the steelbook's value as a collectible?   :(

Received my Hurt Locker SteelBook Korea today.




This is BD + DVD.  Bagay para sa mga naghahanap ng DVD steelbook ng hurt locker... maganda ang artwork nito compared to other hurt locker releases.   ;)  Yun nga lang.. it is blu-ray sized...

Fresh from the P.O.  kainis, P40 na binabayaran ko...and the customs chief told me that next time e itatax na ko...kahit daw gift, basta acquired from abroad e me tax na...

Speed, def ed steelbook...acquired, P600 shipped  ;D

I was also charged P40 each for my last two packages, tumaas na nga... but my P.O. didn't mention anything about customs tax on all import items even the ones declared as gifts.  I think ganun pa rin ang policy, only packages with declared values of $50 and up are taxed.

Btw, you got those steels at a very good price ha... hala ka may tax ka nga!  hahaha!  biro lang po.  ;D

The lady chief of customs sa P.O. sa NIA road, told me that.  She even gave me a pamphlet of their regulations.  Nataon kasi na 4 na packages ang kinuha ko.  2 for the dvds and the other two was box full of diecast cars from my friends in U.S.  Sa boxes ko ng diecast cars, it was specified na 'gift".  Then sinabi na nga nya na sa susunod, I will be taxed.  Any package daw coming from abroad, e me tax na, even those declared as gift.  Magkakaruon din daw sila ng rotation, so sana, yung papalit sa kanya e hindi buwitre.   ;D  I hope nga ma clear ito.  I still have pending packages, both dvds and diecast cars coming... ;D

Looks very similar to the local dvd steelbook release which up to now is yet to make its appearance on the astro shelves...  ::)

Meron tyo mga locally released steelbooks...You could get them sa astrovision and astroplus...yung iba sa ebay, amazon at sa iba pang online site na nagbebenta ng mga steels...You could also get them sa ibang members here sa pdvd na nagbebenta ng steels nila...mura na, madadali pa kausap...Hope this helps...
