Natatanggal ba yung plastic sa luob ng Steelbook? May isa kasi akong SteelBook na natamaan ng baha.

I wouldn't know for sure.  Mukhang pwede pero parang mahirap.  I haven't tried prising the plastic.. it's too risky and could result to added damage if I try to pry it forcefully.  :-\

Sorry to hear about your steelbook sir blued888.  :(  I hope it's the only casualty in your collection.

Madami dami eh, S1 to S6 ng 24, S1 to S4 ng Desperate Housewives, Bourne Ultimatum SteelBook, and a few others. Ang masaklap pa dun, 90% of them are sealed and all are R1. :P Estimate ko mga almost 15k+ ang damage, aray ku po. May pagka-OC pa naman ako sa collection ko. >:(

Good thing my two racks containing 300+ DVDs were upstairs.

Aray ko nga!   Box sets pa yung na-dale  :'(   But the sealed ones.. are they really damaged beyond repair?  baka naman may chance na hindi pinasok ng tubig since naka-seal pa...   :-\ ???

Di bale sir, I'm sure mababawi nyo yan.. and what's more important is that safe kayo at ang family nyo..  :)

^ I suppose it's a mix of dvd and blu-ray steels.  :-\

But that is still a very impressive steelbook collection!  (Referring to sir Blu-devil's post above)  Congratulations!

I too am waiting for my Up and transformers 2 BD FS steels.  :)  Decided to pass up on the other Disney steels for now.   ;D

Congrats on those rare steels, sir. Mukhang ang dami mo na sa collection mo a. I think your "34 steels and counting" signature is not relevant anymore... it should be "134 steels and counting" na yata. ;D

I think some local video stores might still have BoB tin (try O at Rockwell, I remember seeing the BoB tin there about a month or so ago) but the Beowulf one is a futureshop Canada steelbook (like the one sir jonjon got from sir throwbackchampion) so you won't find that in any of the local stores.  Best bet would be to check ebay and the marketplace from time to time... or if you have a JAC account, you can get them from the amazon marketplace.  Anyway, I'll let you know if I come across these items.

Goodluck and welcome to the bakal club!   ;D

Thanks!!!  Wala pa ko sa 100...40 pa lang to be exact.  Medyo nahinto ako ngayon, due to the flooding that we experienced.  Medyo nagamit ko yung pang steelbook ko sa appliances and furnitures namin dito sa bahay...

The Disney's Up Steelbook is the first of its kind. It utilizes the dimension design (length and width) of a G2 Steelbook but the depthness/thickness is different.

I guess Scanovo's Overlap trademark design cannot be incorporated to their G2 Steelbooks.

Thanks for the pic. I have a spare plastic double insert from a damaged Gladiator SB. I can just place the steels on the insert and have a normal sized Blu-ray Steelbook. Don't really need the DVD. Just to sort out the spine.

Waiting for Snow White Blu-ray Steelbook to arrive then I will just swap over the panels with one of my UP Steelbooks to make a slim case. Will remove SW spine and replace with trimmed Up spine and voila.
Will do the same with the Monsters Inc Jumbo Blu-ray case when that turns up. Also Scanavo are kindly sending me spare empty cases for Watchmen Directors cut Blu-ray Steelbook, Transformers 2 Blu-ray Steelbook and Terminator Salvation Blu-ray Steelbook + a couple of plastic 3 disc inserts (minus the steel panels)
