just sharing my opinion that local channels has stepped up in news programs

i personally like how abs-cbn is handling news , birui mo parang cnn na sila they send people directly from where the news is happening may tao sila mismo sa site ng news which for me is really really good , you get the news straight from where it happens, libya, new zealand galing ,

though even i believe that they are still the best news carrier, i just hate it why cant they open anz and teleradyo to other cable networks sayang eh , quality news 24/7 kaso exclusive sa skycable lang eh , thats not news anymore its business na eh hehehe

channel 5 - aksyon tv galing a different view of news and different approach mahusay

gmanews tv channel 11, its about time , it took you time to have this sana noon pa , akin lang po eh tanggalin natin ang network war sa news channels lets leave it on our entertainment channels nalng, abs and tv5 are doing good in keeping this to minimal sana ganun din po sa gmanewstv

overall , kudos to abs, tv5 and gma keep it up

I like ABS-CBN kasi hindi sila masyadong madaldal when it comes to pasiklaban ng station. Hindi tulad ng GMA na parang yun na lang ang purpose nila sa buhay, ang pabagsakin ang ABS. Ang TV5 naman nakikiride-on sa rivalry ng dalawa. So sad...

WHen it comes to new, I admire ABS, direct, walang halong pasikat...

I still watch ABS CBN news over GMA, better yet ANC over ABS CBN because it has filtered down to the most relavant news of the day. But I prefer the late news of GMA over Bandila, I didn't like their format of discussing opinions thru iPad and iMac. They seem to follow CNN's programs, GMA copied iReport in YouScoop.

But there's a controversy going on with ABS-CBN's TV Patrol omission of Binay's name. It's still GMA who has no biases but their reporters are new and boring.

In fairness to GMA, I think they are more on time recently when I checked local cable. Unlike ABS-CBN the news were late (midnight) instead of 11 PM. What makes them late, the stupid noontime shows again?

The networks have the capability to bring forth worthwhile shows as seen with QTV and ANC. Why do they have to assume that the only way to make money is to bring down entertainment in its lowest form (kajologan) to be appreciated by the masses. if they only see the masses as uneducated fools who crave for crossdressing boys who put on ghastly make-up and dance erotically on primetime, then f&ck them all.

E parang extension lang ng GMA yan, walang pinagkaiba.

Kung ako tatanungin, mas ok ang Studio 23, kasi iba ang format/target audience kaysa ABS-CBN.

Sa QTV (GMA NEWS TV na ngaun), puro kajologan din naman ang palabas.

Between the two I prefer GMA not because they have a better programming but because in my place, ABS reception is not that good... back to GMA naman, wala na yatang maisip na story ang writer kasi ang mga tema ng storya puro agawan ng mga babae sa isang lalaki... nakakaumay na!! great relief na tuloy ang korean tv drama at least may mga twist ang mga storya...

Sampalan, sigawan pa. They may not only know but these TV stations are slowly conditioning the mind of the viewers that such circumstances are normal. The dialogue and attitudes of the characters are sometimes mimicked by people who are exposed to such. Later they may discover that they have already adopted the same behavior. Sana ito ang e-stop ng MTRCB. The way I see it these do not contribute to the improvement of the Filipino culture.

TV or not, these are things happening in reality. Minsan medyo OA lang, pero based on reality. Meron din namang mga palabas na nagbibigay aral. I'm sure hindi kayo nanonood ng mga ito dahil nakacondition na yung isip nyo na ganon na lahat...

Someone should tell those ABS-CBN newscasters that they look really stupid seated side-by-side with 2 laptops and an iPad in front of them. Do they have some kind of product placement deal with Apple?

A laptop is still somewhat acceptable, but having an iPad on a stand in front of you while announcing the news looks freaking hilarious.
