ABS is good in doing teleserye & the actors are more known to the filipinos than GMAs. GMA pa rin coz of EB. Parang yun nalang nagpabuhay sa network

Yes TAPE is probably paying the hourly spot every lunchtime & I think its a big lift for GMAs ratings coz of millions of audiences have their eyes glued to the TV every noontime

I travel to many countries several times a year. Whenever I meet Pinoy friends or family members during my trips, I get queries about ABS-CBN talents all the time. Bihira yung talents sa GMA.

In the US, for instance, where The Filipino Channel (TFC) is very popular, Pinoy fans are pretty interested in ABS-CBN talents. And yearly many organized Filipino communities invite these talents to celebrate with them in huge gatherings or for a show. There's a big Filipino community, for example, in Florida and I always see ABS-CBN talents in their annual April festivities.

Because of netflix and sports channels, we seldom watch na local channels.. but whenever we get a chance, abs cbn pa rin mas ok, asap, showtime, voice.. pero pag news, automatic ako sa news tv, state of the nation with jessica soho 9pm.

Tagal na akong Hindi nag watch ng local channel, tried now sa news both abs & gma nainip ako sa haba ng commercials. Back to movies na lang

Same here. The commercials are long and annoying. So I end up switching to other channels or watch straight international news via internet streaming.

A little off-topic, but I noticed that UNTV has a better mix of primetime news material. Not a hodge-podge of too many CCTV news clips which eat up most of their air time.
