for great looks combined with talent and training of their artists, i choose abs-cbn ... more product endorsers come from this station ... a lot are proven bankable stars ... most of the talents can ACTUALLY sing, dance, emcee and/or act ... almost all dress up really well ... more than half can converse in acceptable english (one trait i still need to see/hear more from gma talents)

abs cbn has a lot of this so-called "bankable artists" because they are so good at getting talents from other stations at the top of their game, as already mentioned by a few posts before. sorry, they may have the better profile abroad, but i dont like their stylings.

It has to be GMA. ABS CBN sucks never interested in watching that station specially the news.

ABS CBN! They have better writers, plots and stories! But GMA 7, for the production design and still pictures (damn they are great on those aspects!) ABS CBN's "telenovelas" have better endings, acting and more realistic (except yung kay Juday and Gladys Reyes, nahulog si galdys mga 3 floors pero mas malakas pa siya sa lalaki, and para siyang doraemon na nakakuha ng gasolina samantalang nasa ospital siya na walang nakakita

). Samantalang sa channel 7 puro barilan and violence ang ending ng telenovela's tapos alang sense of realism (or sobra) gaya ng nahulog ng mga 200 feet tapos bumagsak una likod sa kabayo na lumilipad pero alang bali, also yung mga choreography nila sa action, plainly STUPID! (pinoy tapos alang nagtuturo tapos ang martial arts nila Kung Fu! BWAHAHAHAHA!)

though i really don't know why.maybe my intense annoyance with those uber crappy game shows that ch2 offer.

they can throw everything at eat bulaga, but nothing they do can top it.

anyone noticed na sinabay nila showtime sa slot ng EB?binalik uli sa 1030,olats e.

Cable channel is the best, kasi mali yung tanong, dapat which is BETTER.

Support GMA. Parehong may ari ng Meralco yang ABS at TV5 owners, baka pag na-squeeze out nila GMA baka kung anu anong milagro gawin sa electric bill natin.

GMA ako. ABS CBN does have the better newscasters, writers and reporters. But when I watch their news shows...parang yun mga newscasters are just reading it off the teleprompters. Minsan wrong pronunciation ng names. Inshort parang they don't know what they are reporting on but just read them. As for writers...minsan naman wrong info yun binabalita nila.

I hate Mike Enriquez that's why I watch tv patrol.

I hate Willie and co. and now Rico J and co. that's why I watch Eat Bulaga.

I hate ASAP and SOP that's why I watch cable channels na lang or better yet dvd or blu na lang.

I kinda like GMA7 coz there's nothing pretentious about who they actually put there. Case in point - the so-called jologs like German Moreno and his Walang Tulugan cast and Marian Rivera. Likewise the underrated but great actresses like Sunshine Dizon and Iza Calzado.

But the news department is something else - Mike Enriquez, Susan Enriquez, Jessica Soho, Arnold Clavio, Love Anover - these are the type of people you see in your nearby palengke and sari-sari stores, the kind that ABS-CBN at the outset would never run after until of course now. In short, unlike ABS-CBN that goes for looks, GMA goes for substance and relevance and for someone the masses could easily relate.

GMA - I like better their news delivery. What I dont like is the longer commercials time.
ABS-CBN - More news time for the day. However, their style is style taliba.

What I dont like for both - using foreign (asian) teleserye and converting it for tagalog language.
Cant they make their own teleserye? In any case... I dont like teleserye.

ive always been partial to gma since the late 70s and miss the days when you had combat on saturday evenings or charlie's angels or donny and marie and the muppet show on sundays and starsky and hutch during fridays. it's too bad that nowadays, you have nothing else to put up with but these generic crappy soaps that both stations dish out.

i was more on GMA for many years... went to ABS-CBN (and ANC 24/7) since last year as i noticed huge improvement.

DJ Sta. Ana kinda rubbed some of the powers that be at the ABS news department the wrong way so he was eased out. He eventually resigned and went to Globe. Didn't know he went back to media.
