Advise lang mga Bro based on experience.

Sa dami nyong nakapila, the fastest way to prepare your drives is to copy them straight (500GB or 1000GB).  Walang pili-pilian muna.  I was actually surprised to read that Gren can finish 1TB in about 4 hours.  It's possible with sustained copy speed of about 66MB/sec via eSATA, but then full format palang ng 1TB HD, 4 hours na halos. 

Tapos if you want any other particular titles or if you want to delete any title you dont need, then I think you have to do it individually, on your own time,  by visiting the shop once you get your NMT.

Whoa. We'll reach Christmas if ganun nga. Better consider Sir Clondalkin's suggestion then.

to those who bougt the 31b , do you guys have a workaround already with regards to the fan noise? nagpalit ba kayo ng fan?

I have talked to Richie of eHome about this. The noise is tolerable if you are seated 7 to 8 feet or farther from the unit. On really quiet scenes, dinig pa rin (unless you have a noisy aircon) although to be honest, its not that loud.

Punta raw si Richie ng Raon to find a more quiet fan so we can mod the units. He will also inform the manufacturer but, in the meantime, hanap na sya ng paraan. Sabi nya, at cost lang daw ang mod. Let's see.

I'll bet my hard drive the James Bond Collection would be like The Star Trek Collection.  You'll have them but you won't watch them.   Yung Korean titles pa siguro, and syempre basta dehins catalogue.    Yung mga catalogue title ko sa hard drive puro parang mantikang tulog.  Yung LOTR, iniisip ko palang yung 9 hours of viewing time, nananakbo na ako.      Pinakamaaga kong pinapanood ang new releases, documentaries, mini-series and TV series.

Advise.  Since a 1TB can only fit around 150 titles, better to choose the titles you really would watch.  Kung meron na kayo sa BD or HD DVD original or masyadong sikat na catalogue , I doubt you'd find the time to re-watch.

that's strange, my unit's fan is not noisy at all... maybe it's the fan or my ears are now defective 

on other hand, i also recommend that you do a straight 1TB HD image copy instead of doing customized selections...

At the eHome store, d mo maririnig ang fan kasi may normal ambient noise. I can only hear it sa HT ko, which is extremely quiet (unless dumaan ang bwi*it na LRT  ). Full acoustic treatment and sound-proofing. Plus, my aircon is really quiet.

I would guess that in an ordinary living room or bedroom, d mo mapapansin ang fan. As I said, its not really that bad .. but I still want a more quiet fan for me.

I see... since you are running an efficient aircon unit, i presume it can handle the heat generated from the HD internal to your EGreat... maybe, just turn-off the fan by disconnect the cable connector inside the unit to the fan or doing a DIY to put a switch or something.

The other option is look for those VGA card fans and try to DIY it to your EGreat unit.

this won't be addressed soon -- i'm going to try to look at raon and do some experimentation.  this will probably be by next week.

on the other hand, we'll be letting egreat know of this issue.  i won't be holding my breath on this as any fix will be implemented on succeeding firmwares.
