Topic: Laser Disc as CD player

Guys, need help here.

I have a Kenwood LD which I use as my cd player. Lately, napansin ko na may AC3 out pala and ld ko, coax yata if im not mistaken. Here are my questions:

1. Ito na ba yong digital out na tinatawag ngayon?
2. Pwede ko bang tangalin yong audio rca cables ko and yong ac3 nya ang gamitin ko papuntang avr ko?
3. May difference ba ang sq quality nito pag pwede?
4. Pag pwde, ang prblem ko naman is isa lang ang digital coax ng avr ko. Pwede bang lagyan ko ng Y connector or adaptor ba yon? para magamit ko sa dvd player and ld player yong nagiisang digital coax ng avr ko?

guys, pasenciya na kung di tama mga questions ko. please enlighten me. your inputs will be highly appreciated.

sir, ung ac3 out ng ld is intended solely for ac3 input of ampli/avrs, mostly u can find this feature in old model amps/avrs. if dolby digital lds are played in your kenwood,  signal passes thru this ac3 out for ac3 input of avrs. kung walang ac3 in ung avrs mo, u need an outboard ac3 rf demodulator to convert the signal from ur ld para maging digital signal, only then, can u pass the digital signal to the digital input of ur avr. do not connect the ac3 out of ur ld directly to the digital input of ur avr. ac3 feature of ld player is intended solely for ac3 lds.
