Faulty remote control

There is one faulty button on our HT-Z210.

Ayaw gumana nung 'port' button, kelangan dun mismo sa unit pinudtin (source). Hindi din umiilaw yung "Receiver" button (yung sa taas ng TV button).

Sakop ba ng warranty yung remote?

as far as i know the remote is covered by warranty unless ikaw nakasira like nabagsak mo or nabasa

Yup, it should be covered. Unles offcourse they see that there is physical damage or liquid spill on the remote.
